Doesn't even matter though, it'd still be one of the best shows on. S2 Hannibal was arguably not as good as the first, but still amazing, just like S2 Utopia and Orphan Black.

Yeah, I feel like there is no way Season 2 can live up to Season 1 (if you want it to be exactly like how it was). I think it can be great in its own way. So I hope it ends up standing on its own separate from Season 1. Even if it's different. If that makes sense.
I always liked how the Wire would tackle something new each Season. I know that still had the same characters and some continuity. But I kind of hope True Detective has each season being its own thing, and being good in its own way. Maybe I'm too optimistic lol

We just need Squiddy to post on this page and we'll have a quadfecta.
It does sound a bit Bluesbreaker-y, though it isn't a Les Paul and it isn't a Marshall.
The amp model is ostensibly a brownface Fender through a 1x10. No virtual pedals or anything. Just the amp dimed. Guitar was my walnut Tele with the bridge pickup or bridge and neck P90. I would have used a Les Paul, but one is apart and the other still in open-E.

My worry, is the change in directors for each episode. But really, if the writing stays quality, the directors/actors would need TO REALLY fuck it up.
Since it's the same creator/writer doing every single script, it has a good chance of being at least decent. So really it's all on the writer. If he hammers out another fantastic story w/ great dialogue, then really it would take a lot to fuck that up. I think at best, the season might not live up to the standards of 1, so some will dismiss it. But I think it has a good chance of being good as its own thing (I HOPE).
EDIT: I actually get HBO shows early, so I'll get to watch it a month before you guys.

I used to work in PR/film media. And I have some connects. I still get shit sent to me from HBO/Showtime/AMC. I get promo DVDs sent to my doorstep. Once you get on that mailing list (even if you get out of the business), they still send them.
It's pretty funny actually. I haven't done that work in 3 years. And I still got them. Got half of True Bloods final season early (but I hate that show). Same with the Leftovers. Game of Thrones. And a couple of others.
They usually send a Promo a DVD with 3 episodes on one disc 3 weeks before the first episode airs. And it has a special code on the screen (that is assigned to your name). Then they send you another disc 2 and a half weeks later with another 3 episodes on the DVD.
EDIT: These are sent out to critics for reviews. To clarify. I get review/promo copies.

Yeah, they don't get it early. I'm getting review copies that outlets/critics get. They send them to critics ahead of time, so they have time to write the review (so they can watch it multiple times). Each promo copy is watermarked though. Hence why no one leaks shit. Unless you want get your ass sued by HBO.

There is a watermark that is in the upper right hand corner, and it's a set of numbers that changes throughout. It's not massive, but big enough maybe. I'm not sure if it's possible to crop it out. I think people probably don't do it it because I. they could get sued. II. they would lose their job. III. They would stop getting shit early.
So it's not worth it. Plus, the quality of the promo dvds are awful. They aren't even HD, and look much worse than the broadcast version. So if you are someone obsessed with quality, it would just piss you off. When you take all that into consideration, there is no reason to leak it. Not worth it.

I like peacewalker but don't love it. I played it and only enjoyed it when I "got" what the game is all about(grinding). What you need to do is replay a level where there is S/A rank soldiers. Boss fights ruin the game for me, just a fucking chore really. They only are fun when you upgrade your motherbase to the fullest and only then do you enjoy the sight of a boss dying in like 5 - 10 minutes or so.

You're welcome! Yes, sadly I knew it way too late. I could have saved so many hours, literally each boss took me 30+ minutes to beat at the very least. Thanks to grinding out for S/A rank Soldiers/POW's, it made the game way more enjoyable to me but in the end it's an alright game. The only MGS game where I "liked" it instead of loving it. It's clearly made with the handheld in mind both in the way the game is and how grinding/upgrading extends the length of the game.

That's how I played it actually, in the HD collection on the Xbox360. Yes, I feel you. It is kind of worth it for some of the tidbits in the story but overall it's alright. Also, there is a secret real ending to the game that you'll have to unlock by
completing your Metal Gear Zeke which means you'll have to grind out specific boss battles for the parts that you need. Once you do that, you go to Extra Ops 1 on the second floor, you should find someone and a cutscene will trigger, after that a new level will open up.
You're a Nielsen viewer? Can you get a real cougar on Cougar Town, or change Anderson Cooper 360 to 720, or even convert The Biggest Loser to the metric system?
