Not online but if you're close check your local Sainsburys, hotukdeals reckons they're selling it for £9.99 if that store has any.

I was in the GM cupboard just 2 hours ago at Sainsburys picking up Wolfenstein, and didn't want to waste more of the guy's time by asking on a whim if they had South Park :P

someone help me solve this riddle:

a PS4 on amazon.uk is new and shipped to germany 284.56 pounds.

that's 363 Euros, which is a good 37 euros cheaper than anything I will get here, in stores or otherwise.

but I have a problem with payment, I can't pay by wire transfer from Germany, for some reason and I have to pay by credit card, which is in mexican pesos, and that brings the price up due to currency exchange....

how can I pay that amount? amazon cards? can I buy german amazon credit in Euro and pay on amazon UK in pounds? can I buy amazon british credit online with euros?

is it all this worth the hassle?

Afaik if you want to buy something form amazon.co.uk your only option is CC. You could ask someone to buy you an amazon.co.uk giftcard for that amount and pay them with PayPal or something, but that absolutely doesn't seem worth the hassle.

There were a few of these in Nov/Dec, doesn't mean that they'll continue after the holidays though. I'd wait for the next good local deal as well though. ~350€ shouldn't take long.

Uhm what? Do you check sites like mydealz regularly ? PS4 has been on sale for 333-350€ about a million times in Germany the last year. Don't really know why you would want to get it from UK.

With the Rakuten special I even got my PS4 for 366€ + 150€ PSN cash (which was probably the best deal you could get in 2014).

Can't believe I passed on that deal back when it was available! My biting point on it was £25, which I'm rather regretting now.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was only a limited run kind of deal too, particularly given how badly the WiiU sells in the UK. Even 3D World seems to be getting a little hard to find these days.

yeah through the year... but not now, when I can actually use it.

I may need to look for more deals but PS4 standalone is firmly 399.99 anywhere I've checked here in germany. not an euro cent less.

Not quite as cheap, but for a little over £20 you could get the uncensored version from VG+.

I am going to visit a friend in Geneve/Genf next week and I see online PS4 prices in switzerland significantly lower than in Germany, I should probably wait and see the stores there.
 
Got that Pokemon Typing today, keyboard works great on a Kindle Fire HDX. I'll never get used to deliveries on a Sunday though.
 
It seems like the demand for Wii U products have shot up on eBay in the past month. Wii U Pro Controllers going for over £40 along with other higher priced products. Of course, supply has a factor too especially with some games like Pikmin 3 ann NSLU.
 
Can anyone tell me the best place in the UK to buy Metro Redux for the PS4? I've seen it for around £18 in a couple of places, but I thought it had been doing the rounds for less than that a couple of weeks back.

I picked it up from Rakuten from this link for £12.99 a few weeks back

Thanks, I'll probably try to hold out a while and see if the price drops some more again, or stop by a Smyths if I'm near one. I've just ordered a PS4 and it should be delivered on Thursday, but I've got a few digital games I can play anyway (Oddworld, Outlast, Trine etc).
 
Is there a good international tracker you can sign up on for notification when anyone gets gamecube controller adapters in stock? it's a pain stalking the internet looking for it all the time

What is Nippon Yassen like with their shipping times? Likelihood of customs tax?

I'm thinking for £40 it's not THAT bad a price for the GC adapter compared to everywhere else, throw in the GC pad they're selling for a tenner as well will make it sting less for me.

Depends on the method of shipping. I'm using SAL, which is the cheapest and it takes 2-3 weeks or so. Until now I have ordered one Wii U Pro Controller + the Metroid Zero Suit Samus (and Gamecube controller + regular Metroid Suit, but those haven't arrived yet). Both of those were marked as < 15$ or something and declared as "game (no battery)" and both skipped customs that way. Pretty amazing, Zero Suit Samus was quite expensive.

no error message? I'm currently at work and going directly to www.nippon-yassan.com gets blocked by proxy. But going to a specific item works. It's strange.
btw. in case your creditcard gets rejected, simply use paypal. Their payment provider is blacklisted by my bank, which means transactions don't go through. nippon-yassan is fine, it's just their payment provider.
