It'd help because you wouldn't have to wait so long to see things resolve, but maybe sometimes the wait is a good thing. The speculation was part of the experience

I was so mad with Battlestar Galactica ending, ruined one of the only sci fi TV shows I ever enjoyed :(

And it made sense the ending was so half-assed because the writer said he had no clue how to end the show he had written himself into a wall and then he just said in the shower
God did it.

Like really!?

This so much, while I loved Breaking Bad, enjoy GoT, and think that Person of Interest is the best show currently airing, NOTHING has come remotely close to the sense of wonder that the six seasons of LOST gave me. There has been no other show with a large cast of characters where I cared for a large percentage of them (looking at you Walking Dead)

I remember the LOST phenomenon. I just wasn't into it at the time. It was like, OK, they are on the island, then they find other people on the island, then they find out they all have a purpose for being there and etc etc etc...

At the time, it sound like some lame sci-fi twilight zone type show so I wasn't interested, but............... I felt the same way about Battlestar Galactica and that one of my favorite TV shows ever lol. I need to get on LOST now that it's over.

Go home dad, you're drunk. That's a cool compliment though. My usual singing voice is more somewhere between Bowie and Bill Callahan, though quite inferior to both. But I (and my cocktails) felt your blues guitar needed something more punchy.

Oh, I agree. I think the best parts of BSG are the ones that focused on humanity and effectivly ignored "God". The Pegasus and New Caprica arc rarely focused on religion, beyond it being a divisive factor between cylons and humanity.

Yeah, it's a decent rhythm, but pretty bland over all. I loved the punch that Crude brought to the recording. Those accents at the right spot provided that punch it needed.

Yeah pretty much. We already planned out before so I had to make sure if my friend was coming but last minute bailing and it makes me not really invite the person out. Last min bailers are the worst

BSG was amazing, but yeah that last season, ugh.
And that cheesy cover version of All Along The Watchtower they used. So many eyerolls. I appreciated the show more when the God/angels thing was mysterious, and not Starbuck coming back as an angel.
And they had extra time to figure it out too, with the writer's strike going on at the time. They might as well have had Adama wake up from a dream next to the President.

Oh, no I wasn't saying your guitar was bland, just that it's a different style than I usually sing to, so I tried to invoke a bit of Waits. I had fun with it.

The funny thing is in the lead up to the final episode, given the plot twists that had happened up to that point, there were a lot of really engaging and plausible fan theories that would have connected all the dots in a satisfying fashion. So yeah it made it hurt even more :(
