With a Snapdragon 801, okay...

To be honest by the way, I don't think we need to improve screens that much more at this point. I mean, how many more pixels do you wanna see on a 5 to 6 inch screen :P

I don't care about phones, but it's fantastic for vr that screen resolution is being pushed.

I started the IT Crowd yesterday. And the fourth episode finally taught me where your avatar is from :D

Richmond is the greatest. Which lead to your cool avatar.

I wonder if the insane amounts of RAM we're getting these days open up a market for more serious gaming on smartphones. Though they will have to seriously come up with a battery revolution. These new processors, insane screens and other fancy stuff need some serious battery to last a day.

Phone improvements are now past the point they make a real difference. Diminishing returns, if you will.

If you have a good 2 year phone there's little to no real incentive to trade it for a new one.

Of course, a new one will be better. It will be snappier even if you can't tell all the time, it can have OIS etc. But it will not be not ground breakingly better. It's just like buying a new computer nowadays.

I was on board since 2009 but jumped off the phone craze already.

edit: I was beaten to the punch.

This camera position is really challenging my lack of depth perception.

'Work Outing' is one of the greatest comedy episodes ever. Also, if you haven't already, check out Linehan's earlier, genuine GOAT show Father Ted.
I love it when I name drop Arnie, a sublime human being.

I hope I did well in my test ;)
I have two weeks to learn feminist ethics of care and Aristotle, and another week to learn varieties of capitalism, globalization, and Rawlsian Justice.

Well it's easy here, we have contracts for two years and they allow you to pick a new phone with it. Sometimes little money, sometimes even nothing depending on how much I pay monthly for my data. So I just refresh every two years from now on. Which is firstly very handy because new phones are better suited for the new software. Android 5.0 in this case. And after two years of heavy use phones (much like computers) just get slower. And with a phone there's not much you can do about it. As long as I can roll with contracts I'll stay on board.

Yeah, I know Father Ted got some serious fans in here. Will watch after the IT Crowd.
