If I preorder on the PS4 do I also get the PS3 version or should I do it the other way around? Does anyone know if that matters?

Yes, if you pre-order the PS4 version of RE HD from the NA PSN store you also get the PS3 version (I found this out the other day when I accidentally pre-ordered the PS4 version off of the web version of the PSN store), so it doesn't really matter which way you do it.

They have economy shipping for about 6€ and "expedited" shipping for 16€. The latter would be 2-4 days but too expensive for me.
The (non-free) economy shipping can take up to 2 weeks I've heard. That's long but I'll choose this the next time.

Ok here:

PS3/Xbox360 = 720p/30fps
PS4/X1 = 1080p/30fps
PC = 1080p/60fps (and maybe more, depends on how the backgrounds and animations react)

Urgh, no, that's the worst one by far. So cheesy and cliché. Looks like something done with XPS and uploaded to deviantart.

The cover they went with for the new edition is much more tasteful.

Exactly, Resident Evil doesn't need explaining. Where as the US one has a zombie on it to cater to the US' need for action on everything.

Yeah, no way Capcom will think people just aren't into retro style Resident Evil anymore if the sales for this are low, they will definitely know that people didn't buy this solely because of 30fps but otherwise love the original style of gameplay.
