What?
The Forza franchise is annual. 2012 with Horizon, 2013 with 5, 2014 with Horizon 2 and now 2015 with 6. Whats "uninformed", as you say, in that?
Motorsport is different from Horizon though. Completely different play styles.
Would you be saying this if the game was called "Horizon Racing" instead of "Forza Horizon"?
I wish people would simply admit that their criticism of this simply comes from the games having the same name and nothing more. If you are tired of Forza Motorsport after Forza Motorsport 5 then that's fine. Saying it in reference to Forza Horizon 2 releasing last year doesn't make any sense though.
As I said earlier, it's like getting mad at a new NBA Street announcement due to NBA Live releasing just a few months ago -- saying "another EA NBA game?" while disregarding their different play styles, presentation, and teams.
As for my first statement, I really don't want a new Forza. I wish Turn 10 could take a 3 year cycle, really work on their engine, get weather effects, night races in.
What makes it impossible for them to do this with the series current two year cycle?
If you're happy that you're going to play a new Forza this year, great for you. I'm not, unless Turn 10 really surprises, which looking at their history, they won't.
Really? Motorsport 5 was pretty much the only game that wasn't a good improvement in the series but even that had new features from Motorsport 4.
The majority of the series has been on the 360 and the series seen major changes with each entry on that console. 3 was a big step up from 2 and 4 was a big step up from 3.
Horizon shouldn't be in this discussion for the reasons I already stated above.
