Well they have to try i suppose.
You're the one trying, really. I don't see why it is so hard for you to accept what Ken Lobb did was PR.
Well they have to try i suppose.
MS employee says exclusive will be good.
Wasn't PR or "empty speech" (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.) It was a comment made in jest ( or humorous tone as the OP put it)on a podcast. But yeah keep that salt flowing.
You can't be serious.
Don't know if you played W101 but it's hard not to be doubtful after I tried it. I say tried because I couldn't even bring myself to finish it. Could barely see my characters or make out what was going on and the endlessly looping music killed any chance of excitement during battle.
Really?

Yeah not getting the whole "trashy hooker" vibe from that. Take away the guns and it looks like a regular girl in a Tank top.
Has not played Bayonetta or anything else by Kamiya/PG confirmed.
Just like their acquisition of Rare resulted in amazing games.
Nah, it resulted in Rare games. Which is the same quality as their past games.
This complaint is getting old. Rare games weren't the best on the SNES, they weren't the best on the N64. They were never among the best.
I mean just look what they did to Joanna in perfect dark, she looks like some trashy hooker.

Perfect Dark and R.C. Pro Am say you're wrong
Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing and Goldeneye are classics in their respective genres.
Never fall for any of Kamiya's "Next week..." tweets. They're always jokes.
Rare didn't make Starfox 64. Banjo-Kazooie and Duddy Kong Racing have aged fine, and are still some of my favorite games. I'll agree with you on Golden Eye and PD though. As an old Rare fan in my younging days who loved Golden Eye, the Banjo series and still loves the Donkey Kong Country games. While I definitely understand why they're classics(as I was there for them and enjoyed them at the time) they definitely didn't age well.
The 64 Zeldas, Mario 64, and the actual Nintendo games from then aged beautifully and play great today. Can't say the same about most Rare games outside of Starfox 64.
I bet this game flops.
It'll get good reviews, and more importantly, MS will market the shit out of it.
So probably not.
I love viva pinata and thought kameo was good but I think the "problem" people have is "they weren't too bad" is not the quality that people expect from rare.
I never thought their old stuff was wonderful either so their quality never declined, but the "scope" did
the guys who brought me goldeneye making fuckin kinect games and "some clothes for your xbox avatar" isn't exactly what I expected from them
Really? Okay...
Nuts and Bolts is just one example of how far ahead of the curve RARE were when it games. Allowing the player to create their own vehicles to allow for all kinds of emergent gameplay? Emergent gameplay is all developers talk about now, but RARE were pulling that shit off with ease almost a decade ago.
Now that MS owns Minecraft, I wonder if there's not something to be made with both IP. Many people say Minecraft is the new Lego, "Minecraft Nuts & Bolts" could be the new Lego Technic. (with that said I always preferred regular Lego to Technic).
Well he was kinda joking so...Game of All Time...that is laughable. I can't take this game seriously after that statement from Lobb.
I fail to see how a Kamiya game could not be awesome, and I personally trust Lobb's taste, but this is a comment he should avoid really.

Rare making a Minecraft sequel/spin-off would indeed be a big year..

Marketing for a Platinum AAA game that also happens to be an MS IP. If you honestly think they aren't going to market the ever living hell out of this game well...i don't know what to tell you.Marketing? For a Platinum game? Nah
There's no real info the guy doesn't even refute the monhun clone claims.
A bold statement that will haunt this game at the end of time...
There's no real info the guy doesn't even refute the monhun clone claims.
How do you know if either of these things will be true?
You can't.
