Right now? Sure.I'm willing to bet my left nut everyone who has posted in this thread already has a compatible charger
Is the adapter is the as the 3DS or DS?
Sorry for the harsh words but this shit should be bannable, if you want to call someone out, have the guts to do it. Stop generalizing and using pejorative terms. Please.Nintendo of America, everyone!
*slowclap*
Nintendo defense force is fighting the good fight this morning. Do you guys get tired of doing spin for the company on message boards?
I think you hit your head harder than you thought, because there's no real correlation between the two.
Yeah, that is going to suck only having one charger to share among two systems (since I am trading my old OG 3DS for the new one).Right now? Sure.
After they trade in their old 3DS to pay for the New 3DS? Probably not nearly as many.
Items required for the very basic function of a device should be included with said device. This isn't even about what people are "accustomed" to, this is basic Consumer Products 101, come on now...It's what people are accustomed to, and change(s) can tick off a person or two.
Yup $5 is a lot of money for me. Just like it's apparently a lot money for Nintendo! But I don't see you being critical of them though.

What does fucking bother me is this shit still comes out to $260 with tax in Canada. That's A LOT FOR A LITTLE.
Harper's Canada. Get use to it.1 Canadian Dollar equals
0.84 US Dollar
Pretty much it is confirmed 2DS replaced 3DS in NA, which really sucks considering 2DS is a really cheap version of the 3DS.I understand how dumb this is.
I will probably still end up with one anyway. If there is another version of the New 3DS that I actually want, considering there is no Normal New 3DS (at least not yet, maybe we will get it later but who the fuck knows.)
Could your post be more offensive? I don't think so.This seems pretty redic to anyone whose tougue isn't currently up Nintendo's ass

And the sheeple will drink it down and ask for more...Not good. Very bad choice there NOA.
Don't support this shit people. The other regions get it but not USA. Why? lolGreed.
Nah the info is right the in the package, let's not get ridiculousThey could see a class action for deceptive marketing. No charger? Like WTF.
You haven't been on the internet for very long then.Could your post be more offensive? I don't think so.

When has an electronic mobile device ever come without a charging adapter/cable?
I think they made a mistake in not going with 3DS with faceplates. I am pretty sure most kids would rather have that than a 2DS. It would have been smarter to phase out 2DS.I get what the 2DS was for but I think they went about the wrong way with it. Especially with that name.

You literally did a slippery slope reference.Did I say that?
That'd be the case if this was the first iteration of the system, which is not. I agree it's shitty not to include the charger in the box, but it's not such a big deal because the charger isn't that expensive and this is a limited edition. probably will only be purchased by enthusiasts that already own one. It's about people just rolling over and accepting companies deciding not to include items that are critical to the use of the system they just bought.

No charger and no game... The fuck?
This is the closest I've been to buying a 3DS, but thankfully stuff like this makes my decision easier. I almost get the no charger thing, but no game included in a bundle with art specifically related to the game is bewildering.
SommidIt's standard MSRP for the new 3DS XL, no? I don't have a problem unless the Euro bundle with game is the same price. I don't expect new hardware to come bundled with new games at no cost.
As for the adaptor, Nintendo has been doing this since the DSi XL in other regions and I while I was initially against it I have 5 adaptors from various handhelds. At this point it's really not necessary and an environmental waste and a tiny cost to get one. I'd have liked the charging cradle though.
You're arguing that, because you already have spare chargers lying around, the inclusion of another charger in the New 3DS XL bundle would be an environment waste. What you fail to realize is that the chargers are still being manufactured regardless; the only difference is that the consumer has to pay.
Same price as the regular models... so why is this suddenly a horrible thing that it doesn't include the game just because it has different art plastered on it?
Yes, but there are a lot of places to speak like that in the internet, this is supposed to be, if I'm not mistaken, a place for civil discussion, not that. You haven't been on the internet for very long then.
All other regions have also not been getting the AC adapter for ages now.
Why exactly are you defending the business logic of it? If it's such great business logic, why isn't every other tech company doing it?Business wise, makes a lot of sense for Nintendo. Just for fun say they sell 10 million of these n3DS. Say it costs $2.50 to make that saves them $25 million off the bat. Then say they can turn around and sell 5 million of the chargers for $10 new. That's another 37.5 million.
Small differences mean a lot when you scale them. I totally get their logic here and I think they'll make more off of it than they will lose for people actually not buying the system.
Defending the business logic of it, not the anti-consumerism. But it is what it is, just go buy one for $8 off Amazon or don't get a new 3DS. They gave you the ultimatum and they are fine with the consequences.
If it's not difficult to come by or expensive for me, then why is it difficult and expensive for Nintendo? People should be pissed when the freaking device they intend to buy that requires a charger to work doesn't come with one and you should probably defend something worth defending instead of trying to damage control for Nintendo. It should be included, there is no excuse for this. It's one thing to thing well that's disappointing. It's another to flip out like some people here are.
It's $8 for an official charger; that's not worth getting upset over. It's not something is difficult to come by or expensive to buy were not talking about a $60 controller here.
Could your post be more offensive? I don't think so.
Was a pretty tame comment. Seems pretty reasonable to expect the game in the special addition console
The hate in this thread is mind boggling. Just plain mind boggling. They're selling a normal New 3DS with a paint job for the same price as one without a paint job. Why MUST it require more than that?
It can't be Europe I promised a land of Steam like eShop sales on a constant basis, a wonderful Club Nintendo and VC games far as the eye could see. #gassisalwaysgreenerNo adapter? The fuck is this, Europe???
Yep, don't forget the DSi, DSi XL and 2DS as well.Is the adapter is the same as the one for 3DS and DS?
Haha. This my favorite reply yet. It is a good point as it really is a bundle of nothing.Someone fix the thread title. This is not a bundle, it's just a MM edition for the new 3DS.
Because for either product an item that is necessary for it to function after 6 hours isn't included.
