And then there are the appreciation thread's that get made like every other week, about Nitendo's games being 60fps, or no one makes platformer's like they do, or no one has gameplay mechanics like they do, BLA, BLA BLAH.

My issue isn't with anyone, it's with the double standard that I See mainly for Nintendo, and this announcement isn't as big of a deal as people are making it out to be.

I have Prime Trilogy on disc, but I'll probably grab the download to show support and have more convenient access.

Question though that can make or break my decision: anybody who has both Galaxy 2 on disc and the Wii U download, are the loading times better on the download version?

I can confirm that, I finished SMG2 and my save was still there but the Mii wasn't, nevertheless I played throwback Galaxy.

Your making false statement's, I clearly stating mainly what I see in Nintendo thread's, and why this news isn't exciting, and games should be HD to help their slate for 2015-2016, which outside couple games on Wii U looks non-existent.

Wind waker HD did not take long to make to my understanding , and looked fantastic. These games deserve HD remakes especially by Nintendo since I think Nintendo does just as good of a job as GTA V, TLOUS:R, if not better since they are older games that were in SD format.

I hope they manage GC VC, so we can get other rare games. I'm mainly thinking about Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. And also Radiant Dawn for the Wii VC. The soundtracks just got released in Japan, so I'm sorta hoping off that.

And Xenoblade. After seeing the 3DS version, I don't want to play that version now. Plus I don't fancy spending around £60 for a copy.

One game. Specifically, one game that isn't even announced as being part of this VC release. Nice try. Even Donkey Kong is close to $30 on Amazon, Metroid Prime Trilogy comes to 99.95.

I don't want to buy any of these games because I never want to touch a Wii Remote again in my life and I hate Nintendo's store, but I hate the trend of remastered games and that can go fuck right off. Selling digital versions of a game that's already playable with BC on the system for a lower price than you can get them in stores is completely fine though.

If you read my post's I'm more or less talking about how this announcement isn't a big deal, but people on here are treating it like it is.

And I am correlating to other thread's i remember, that had people with certain avatars talking shit about remaster's and such, and here is Nintendo re-releasing games that are still in print, and people have been playing on their Wii U's.

That's all I'm saying. It's not a big deal, and should have been HD remaster's, which to my knowledge would not be as hard as it was for Wind waker, as some of the tools they used to get pikmin 3 were based from Wii architecture.

Pikmin 3 was a Wii game at one time. The only game I could see being a pain, would be prime trilogy as it started on gamecube hardware, so same time frame would be needed that they used for Wind waker or even more since it's three games in one package.

Going by the same page, Super Mario Galaxy 2 physical is $36. It'd be smarter to buy digital, especially for the next week or so.

The game isn't expensive anymore unless you want it brand new sealed. it goes for around $60 on eBay. Even gamestop charges $50 for it used.
