It looks so good though... also, I don't necessarily see where they're marking the box as a bundle. Just seems like a special edition console, based on what I can read on the box.

I agree with you mostly as Zelda is associated with gold, but MM is a special case. A lot of folks including me thought that if MM 3D ever existed and got a 3DS, the thing would be purple.
I think that would be splendid, but I also don't see Nintendo ever releasing anything, even a limited edition, in purple again after the GC.
And if they do it would be a model with female appeal, like Animal Crossing or something.

How many people complaining already have a charger from their DSi/3DS/2DS though? A lot of the people I see complaining have 3DS's so I don't know how it affects them. The no charger thing has been going on for a long time now everywhere but NA, the domino was gonna fall sooner or later.

So, does the US version of the New 3DS XL allow for interchaning of faceplates? I'm lost with this. If so, I'll just import the Japan version for Majora's Mask since that looks a hundred times better.
No. Only the normal size n3DS has faceplates. They're not offering that size in the US.

See, we in Europe got the awesome Majoras Mask Special edition. I pre-ordered that shit. I'm not trying to make it sound like bragging but I'm glad we did get something(though everyone should experience this)

OK you guys, so we know we gave you the new Majoras Mask special edition but we have to make sure your 3DS is ugly as hell. Also, to even out the playing field, we're not going to include the charger so now you can understand what the EU have been feeling for the last 2 years.

"GameStop have a deal where I can trade in my 3DS for the New3DSXL. I would happily do but it would mean having to trade in my current 3DS with the charger. This means I can't buy a New3DSXL since I can't even charge it and experience ALL THAT NEW BATTERY LIFE".

Yea, it should be available at other retailers, with Walmart and Target (brick and mortar, online will be different) probably not having preorders and just placing it when it comes out.
Hmm... no charger? This has been a thing in Europe for quite some time. My Smash Bros 3DS did not include a charger. Neither does any other regular 3DS XL here, I think.
I thought it was kinda weird at first, when I bought my 3DS. But it really is no biggy to just buy/order a charger with the 3DS -- It's good for ppl that are upgrading and already have a charger anyways. Because there's nothing more annoying than having 500 chargers around.

Thing is you have to give your charger if you are upgrading, so you are pretty much losing $20 in your trade-in because Nintendo.

No. There is no charger. You have to buy one separately. If you don't, you get to use your new 3DS once until the battery dies, and then it will not work anymore.
Yeah, makes sense. I didn't think about people wanting to sell/trade-in the system to be entirely honest lol.

There are quite a few themed 3DS/XL's that didn't come with a game.
Pikachu, Pokemon X/Y, Yoshi, Animal Crossing etc. The thing that kills me is it doesn't come with a charger which seems absolutely absurd because how are you supposed to charge it? Have to go buy a third party charger? Charger through their site? It's like hey, here is your brand new wii-u but we didn't include a power cable so have fun not playing your new system.
Most people don't have a reason to keep 2 systems. I thought i had an extra charger but apparently i have 2 standard DS or 3DS cables, they are the thinner ones.
Yeah it's such an odd choice. I get you can use the old charger from the DS/DSi days but it really makes no sense. Do they think everyone has one already? I can't explain it.
