The mistake that annoyed me the most in the Green Bay game was when Burnett went to the ground like he had just sealed the game. Dude had a lot of room to run and there was so much time left on the clock. When all was said and done Green Bay killed about 20 seconds on the clock and didn't score. I feel like that was the beginning of the end for Green Bay.

I didn't have a problem with this. He isn't a ball carrier. I was glad he went down instead of fighting for yards. Probably would've like to see him get five more or so, but it wasn't an egregious play by any stretch.

"I didn't think it would take a lot of points to win this game," McCarthy said. "I came in here to run the ball. The one statistic I had a target to hit was 20."

It's all good, guys. McCarthy achieved his goal!

By the way, Seattle scored 36 on GB the first time they played and averaged 24.6 pts/game (10th in the league).

McCarthy says things that make me really question how smart of a coach he really is. Like you said, Seattle dropped 36 on the Packers last time they played and averaged 24 points a game. Where in the world is McCarthy thinking he wouldn't need to score a lot of points to win this game? Is he completely oblivious to the quality of his defense?

To be honest it just seems like anytime the Patriots win there is cheating allegations. I mean if they cheated then fine punish them, but even if deflated balls were used, that would help the other team also.
I think each team gets their own set of balls.

Can't wait for that traitor Cowher to come out and say that everyone cheats. Fucking turncoat. Once upon a time I believed in you Bill and you repay me with lies and treachery? Bettis and Bill are dead to me.

And dat Seahawks defense. Hope they are all healthy and fit and ready to embarrass Tammy and co.

Did you miss where the Pack D played one of their best games of the year, and Wussle had one of the worst 57 minutes of playoff quarterbacking we've seen this side of Andy Dalton?

Even Lynch's absurd HoF level heroics in the 4th wouldn't have been enough to win 99% of the time. That's just how immense and historic this collapse was.

Sounds like Thomas may have a partially subluxed shoulder and Dick may have some ulnar neuropathy in his left arm, doubt they'll miss the game but we definitely won't see any dick interception like yesterday!!

What a load of horseshit. Andrew Luck played like complete and utter trash yesterday and I'd take him over almost any QB in the league. Excuse me for suggesting a good coach can have a bad gameplan.

I assume he is talking about "coach replacement discussions" a la Sephzilla.

Down, girl.

Some of the play calls were mindboggling (the sequence after Burnett's pick was the most egregious for me, honestly), but it was the players failing to put in the kill shot on like five different occasions during that last 4 minutes that did them in. I've slept on it and I'm in a little better head space about it. Looking forward to how pissed off Rodgers is going to be next year!

Why is no one shitting on the true villain, Andrew Quarless???? He makes that simple catch and the game is over!

Also Rodgers for stepping on his dick on essentially every hot.

Weirdest thing during the game was how everyone was talking of the Packers like they should have been blowing the Seahawks out. Did y'all see how that D was playing? That secondary play was beautiful.

They have 2 weeks to get ready.

I think both guys could be pretty close to 100%.

Young guys can heal really quickly. And on defense you can get around some upper extremity stuff. The legs are what you can't work around and tears to the ligaments and even sprains just take longer to heal and you will get exposed quickly at any level if you try to go on a bad wheel.

Don't give up on the dick INTs. He might catch a duck or three from Brady come Superbowl Sunday!

The first half of the game was a combination of the Packers defense over-achieving and Russel Wilson having an all-time worst game. I wont complain about the first half for the Packers defense at all, they played as well as they needed to do. However in the second half of the game the Packers defense that we've seen most of the year showed up, especially on those last few Seattle drives. That two point conversion play was absolutely pathetic. That's still no excuse for McCarthy playing ultra conservative like he did.

GB is an amazing first half team and an abysmal second half team, and vice versa for Seattle. Reason that out how you will

I didn't realize how fully dominant Kyle Arrington was against TY Hilton last night. He and Jamie Collins were the only defenders to play every snap and he followed Hilton all game, limiting to only one catch for 36 yards, and even that was an incredible throw and catch on which he had blanket coverage. That's going to be a performance to remember.

Wow, what an epic and hilarious loss for the Packers. Couldn't have scripted it any worse. That's a tough one to move on from :/

The colts receivers who made plays all postseason had 2 catches all game.

If only there were some kind of official that was on the field. And if only those officials touched the ball between every single play.

So is it acceptable according to NFL-GAF rules to have a favorite NFC team when your favorite team is in the AFC? Because after watching the post-game interview with Wilson, I just continue to find myself actually liking the Seahawks.

Hilton's two worst games were against the pats this year iirc

No. You by default root for the AFC team obviously. Deep down you feel the desire to see Tom get his fourth.

Even though the SB is two 1 seeds, overall this has been a great post season.

Pats vs Ravens, Cowbows vs Lions, Cowboys vs Packers, and now Packers vs Seahawks were all really exciting.

Biggest story I think though is the possible end of Peyton Manning.

I think this postseason has helped salvage what was largely a forgettable regular season, without as many signature great games as usual. Patriots/Ravens and Packers/Seahawks were instant classics.
