Thought Emoji Movie was good. Take that as you will.
BTW, amazing thing about this is how horrible both the Patriots and Seahawks looked early in the season.

The first 4 games in it looked like Tom Brady was washed up and the Patriots were on there way to missing the playoffs..

The Seahawks mid-season looked like a team with no offense, but the offense was still okay but flawed.

Both finished so damn strong.

I think this postseason has helped salvage what was largely a forgettable regular season, without as many signature great games as usual. Patriots/Ravens and Packers/Seahawks were instant classics.

Yeah most of the "prime time" games were blowouts. A lot of key injuries and underperformance all around.

I didn't realize how fully dominant Kyle Arrington was against TY Hilton last night. He and Jamie Collins were the only defenders to play every snap and he followed Hilton all game, limiting to only one catch for 36 yards, and even that was an incredible throw and catch on which he had blanket coverage. That's going to be a performance to remember.

I convinced myself they were going to move Revis over to him considering Wayne had become a non-factor...glad they didn't. Arrington played lights out.

Last team to be caught deflating footballs? USC.

Who coached USC? Cheatin' Pete.

There is no good option. Nuke the SB from space, it's the only way to be sure.

Yes, I'm aware that was actually Lane Kiffin. But that doesn't fit the narrative. Enjoy your new oc, fmt!

Also, the worst coaching decision by GB was not going after Dick after he was clearly wounded.

You sure are salty about a thing everybody acknowledges had nothing to do with the result of the game regardless of if it happened or not. Almost like the team involved has done stuff like this before, hmmmmm

I often misconstrue someone making logical observations as them being "salty" too. Oh wait, I never do that.

Tammy hasn't look great in these playoffs.

His deep ball is horrible. He played a Baltimore team with no secondary and a Colts team with one of the worst defenses in the league (and in the conversation for worst team to ever make it to the championship game) so he never had to pay for it.

The bill is now due and it will be paid in full in Arizona.

Go Seahawks! Do your thing Dick!

Im re-watching the hawks-gb. GB fucked themselves so bad, lol. Its making me angry, haha.

And everybody picked Sea over GB mostly. The world wasnt against them, lol.

Gonna be a fun SB.

It was still pretty awful if you look at it in the vacuum of moves they made that offseason. Signing Amendola over Welker was a bad move.

I'd 100% rather have Amendola than Welker right now. That being said, I'd probably look at the move differently if they'd ended up with just Amendola instead of both Amendola and Edelman.

Russell Wilson's ability to scramble for 20-30 yards must be a pain in the ass to scheme around in the age of pocket passers.

I imagine after this miserable passing performance they'll keep it on the ground more.

Well Amendola had a huge game last week and Welker is essentially a walking dead man.

Amendola vs Welker is right there with Lafell vs Sanders, I think both teams came out as winners.

Poor Rodgers, he would have 10 rings in the AFC.

That's what life in the AFC is going to be like for Andrew Luck once Brady and Peyton are gone. Unless Jameis Winston goes to Tennessee and becomes a stud, he'll pretty much have the division and a bye locked up every year.

They were probably referring to this thread during the last three minutes of the game. =)

You went back and watched the game and it made you angry. Offset that by going back and reading the posts in this thread that occurred near the end of the game. It'll make you laugh laugh laugh. My favorite was the so-called "real" Seahawks fan taunting "lifelongs" for suggesting that maybe Seattle still might have a chance. Good times.

Maybe he said that because cdy is a regular poster and contributor to the thread as opposed to some guy who just magically shows up in the playoffs when his team is making a run.

And to be honest the game was kind of over. That win was as improbable as they come and it had as much to do with GB collapsing as it did Seattle stepping up.

Even though the SB is two 1 seeds, overall this has been a great post season.

Pats vs Ravens, Cowbows vs Lions, Cowboys vs Packers, and now Packers vs Seahawks were all really exciting.

Biggest story I think though is the possible end of Peyton Manning.

Really? like the regular season i thought this post season sucked, was a horrible year of football, so many blowouts, the AFC Championship game wasn't competitive, NFC Championship game was sloppy football, IMO the best game of Playoffs was Ravens vs Patriots, every other game put me to sleep or made go play Guild Wars 2..

He was just amazing, and then Revis just made Moncrief disappear. Then, he would play another guy and take him out for a play. It was just awesome. When they can finally get a little pressure and qbs have to throw it quickly the secondary becomes dominant. Too bad they can't do that all the time.

lol at Seahawks' players (read:Doug Baldwin) playing up the "no one respected us, everyone counted us out" card yesterday after the game.

For yesterday's game specifically, the Seahawks played like shit for 3.75 quarters and only got away with a win because the defense made just enough plays to keep the game close enough for GB to give it away at the end. Any "disrespect" was well-warranted.

For the season as a whole, no one was "counting out" the Seahawks when they were 3-3,6-4. They were surprised and disappointed -and for the crazy people that thought that SEA had a legit shot at going undefeated, completely flabbergasted- but no one thought that Seattle was completely done and had no shot at going back to the Super Bowl.

But I get it, these guys need any and all motivation possible to psych themselves up to compete at the highest level. If that involves imagining slights against them from their competitors, the media, the fans, etc.etc., they'll do it.

EDIT: And the playoffs were terrible.

AFC was a total snoozefest other than Ravens-Pats. NFC had a lot of bad football and then refs making themselves bigger than the game.

The AFC is so bad that we got to the AFCC. Shit team era is truly dead (or maybe we are just incredibly bad--below shit team tier). I was a fool and gave into the myths that all you needed was a good QB (who relapsed into full Dalton yesterday).

I think the Pats playing so many shit defenses will bite them like it did Peyton. Btw holy shit at Brady's ducks yesterday, even Peyton would be jealous. It will not be as bad as last years Superbowl because I don't see Belichick being out coached that badly but I see it getting ugly.

they were 7 point favorites going into the game

Where the fuck is Easley :(

I thought he would be the perfect low ceiling impact player for this win now team, boy was I wrong. Gotta go DL again in the draft until we find a solid pass rusher.

Russell's performance was beyond awful (and I love him as a QB). Just goes to show you how good the rest of the team is though. If Kaep had a game like that it would have been like 50--7.

That's exactly what made it so funny. And btw, does posting to the thread more than someone else make you a real fan and the other person a "lifelong"? Perhaps it's thinking like that which turns off so many fans from posting to these threads. Maybe they're not "magically" staying away.

And no, clearly the game was not over. Thus the outcome. I'm not saying you have to have a rosy outlook when all looks lost, but taunting those that do and acting like you're somehow a smarter, more qualified fan than they are because you post more? Please.

If you talk about the bad defenses the patriots played then you should talk about the bad offences the seahawks played.

He was always a next year player for me. Same with Wright at TE. Have a feeling that if Wright sticks around next season he's going to be very productive.

Lol. Well, I was referring to the Sea players post game and the they were all against us talk. I hate when all players-teams do that though, hehe. Sea was the favorite.

That was a sloppy game on both sides. Still exciting though. GB must still be super pissed this morning. Wussle played like crap most of it. Rodgers was alright.

Im not a gb or hawks fan.
