On the one-hand, we can only hope that Nintendo of America will go and manufacture more of the harder-to-find figurines & will help restock stores later this year. My friend had to send them a complaint, through telephone & mail, and he hopes he can get someone in the right department to answer his question.

On the other-hand, just do your best and contact any of the retail stores in your area, and hope for the best. I`ll do my part and see if I can find a Little Mac Amiibo for you, but I can`t keep any promises, what with the figurines being even harder to find in the `Great White North`.

Not only do they only have the most basic amiibos (I think the rarest one they have is a Konkey Dong), but the section is also a complete mess. Accessories are all over the floor and everything looks completely ignored. I doubt they'll be getting another shipment once those 8 or so are all gone.

It's not. the way Amazon works is if they currently don't have stock they list the cheapest 3rd party option which is the case here with Marth and WFT.

Interestingly, Amazon.de has also started implementing a 1 per order limit on certain amiibos. Maybe a little too late, but might stop some scalpers.

I'd kill for a Villager Amiibo. Any non-JP version is $100+. Why aren't there any EU sellers selling them on EBay?

I can get you one (EU) for the equivalent of US $34 (it's EUR25 for the figure+shipping to my house). But then I have no idea how much shipping costs from Italy to where you live?
Also they only have 2 in-stock at the moment, if you want it you better act fast. Or maybe wait for a better deal, dunno, just trying to help.

Yeah, I could almost bite the bullet on $30 for Marth and Wii Fit Trainer, but Villager going for $55 or more is just stupid. Anyways, I give up on them since I'm not going to play that game and feed the damn scalpers. Either B&H pulls through or I'm waiting for a Marth restock and saying bye to the other two.

I jumped on too late to make any Wave 3 preorders so I'm probably never going to see Shulk, Meta Knight and DeDeDe, let alone Mega Man, the one I want more than any other, but I'm definitely going to be preordering all the Wave 4s that I want. No way am I missing out on Pac-Man, Robin and Ness.

I'm hoping they make lots of Toon Links since the Zelda series amiibos seem to be in good supply.

IMO I don't think any Amiibos should be rare. It would be one thing if they were just figures, but they have game functionality and are advertised as such. What was supposed to be a fun way to deepen an experience with your favorite character has instead become scalper heaven. I can't even look at eBay anymore.

Really sad Nintendo won't address this by increasing production.
