For the Feb 20 figures, we have received no confirmation of release dates (except Sonic is weirdly Feb 13 at Walmart). Also, those same figures are part of Wave 3B in Europe to be released on Feb 20. Nintendo factory production schedules probably had the Feb 1 figures being made first and the Feb 20 figures after, hence the Wave 3A and 3B in JPN & EU and the lack of release info for US Feb 20 figures. Did I make any sense at all above? Hahaha"
Ah, kind of the opposite for me. The nearest nexus of all these retailers is about a half an hour away in a heavily congested area where I wouldn't be surprised that if I went into one store, all the Amiibos at the other ones would be cleaned out.
There are plenty of us competing tbh. And in truth its a good thing I like a competition where seeing whom can gift or help the most is the winner pretty sure everyone wins in that case.

I got Shulk preordered so I'm content. I don't think the other three will be too impossible to get, especially Lucario and Rosalina. I'm a bit worried about Meta-Knight, but given how Kirby was always in stock I don't think it will be too dire.
But yeah this Nintendo business is probably what they want. They stay in the headlines even if they look stupid. People keep talking about amiibo and hunt them down. "Supply stays low. Demand stays high." The Nintendo Way.
I'm assuming Wave 4 won't be out before STEAM (March 13th). Which is kind of upsetting because there's a chance I'll just beat the game before I have a chance to use them
I'm trying my best to pick up extra Amiibo for some gaffers here but I can't promise anything since I don't know how big stocks they would received from the company.

Also, any extras I get, I will 100% give out for free (cost and shipping). So to those that have me on their list first for extras, thank you. I will let everyone know Feb 1st (or whenever the fuck these are out), if I'm not able to get the ones you sett aside for me. If I do end up getting them myself, I will still pay you guys for the extra one, and we'll just give them out free to someone on here that still needs it. That sound fair?

Rosalina and Shulk are going to be the hardest ones to get, as well as the most desired. I would say Meta Knight is also going to be hard to get. It could also end up being the most sought after one, if Best Buy doesn't get high supply. I dunno, apart of me feels like Meta Knight could end up being the rarest one.
We also have Ike. Fire Emblem doesn't seem to be as popular in the U.S. and as such, characters like Marth and Ike, Lucina are going to be harder to find when they sell out. So I would keep an eye out for Ike (people don't know Ike as much as Marth, so he could be harder to find).

No idea. I hope Targets have a bunch of Rosalina in stock that aren't pre-orders. Since it's an exclusive, ONLY that store can sell it. So the hope is that, whereas other Amiibos are spread out across various retail stores. Targets will have ALL of that stock funneled to their store (like on an individual level I mean. Each store will have a fuck ton of them).
I think Shulk and Ike are definitely going to be rare for those without preorders. Shulk especially since he is exclusive to Gamestop which rarely covers stock beyond preorders. My main focus come release is going to be searching out the other store exclusives, but if I happen across a Gamestop I will see if there are any extra Shulks. I let a friend of mine borrow Xenoblade and he loves the game to bits. He wants a Shulk amiibo even though he doesn't have a Wii U so I think I owe it to him. If I see any others though I will try to pick them up for you guys.
I have no idea what to think of Sonic and Mega Man. They could be limited runs, but both (Sonic especially) are gaming icons so I would be surprised to see them gone so soon. Got a preorder in for Mega Man because I assumed he would have lower stock but maybe I should've secured Sonic as well when I had the chance.
I sure hope Mega Man isn't rare. I'd assume he'd be uncommon, but still a decently popular enough character. Sonic as well, though he'll probably be a bit easier.
I've got Sonic on pre-order just to be safe. If I have the funds, might nab Mega Man or if I can't find Shulk, get him instead, then quick swing by Target & see if there's any spare Rosalinas. Probably will grab one for me & if there's one more, another for a friend.
Thankfully, got another online friend who might get a hold of Meta Knight for me.

I remember a Target rep on Twitter or chat or something said all preorders sold out. I doubt they'll have it online, if they do it'll sell out super fast. Pretty much everything will be in store.
Shulk is the one I'm most nervous about. Since thisbejason hooked me up with Rosalina, Shulk is the one I expect to not get on the 1st. From everything people are saying, GS is the worst at having stock of their exclusives (supposedly, the usually only get in just enough to fill pre-orders and nothing more).
Also, Xenoblade isn't that popular here. So Shulk is going to be like Ike (not as popular character wise in a not as popular series). Not even sure Nintendo plans on making a bunch of stock for them, given they aren't that well known.
So yeah, if you don't have a Shulk pre-order in NA, you should be sweatin bullets.

I have my route planned out. Target minimum of an hour early, then to the GS in the parking lot there. Then to the GS next to my street. Then depending on my haul, panic and race to the TRU
Best buy... Tell me I can pick up my Metaknight on the 30th or the 1st, I apparently only have hard amiibos on order. DDD, MK, Ike, Shulk and Mega Man.
It might be too soon to say before the remaining Smash Amiibo arrive, but I think no store exclusives being in Wave 4 is a good thing. I would hope that by making a character exclusive, it would mean that the stores plan on keeping them around for quite a while to attract customers to them rather than selling out and never having them again. Gamestop might be the exception since they care way more about preorders though.
To be honest, I don't think exclusives will be that rare (except Shulk because of GameStop).
Otherwise, what would be the point of having those if they are all sold out after one day?

Lucario is a very popular Pokemon.
Meta Knight will be compatible with Kirby on Wii U.
Shulk might be compatible with X.
