so when did laurel and felicity completely change places/personalities

legit felicity has been acting hella irrational and just nonstop whining this entire season while laurel is now literally kicking ass and taking names. this forced olicity bullshit is really hurting the show, they've been trying to cram it into every episode and it's just slowly chipping away at everything that makes Felicity awesome, turning her into the classic 'lana lang' cw girl.
Yeah the olicity shit is dragging her char down badly, she was better when she was that nerdy girl always saying awkward things.

Kinda wish they didn't bring back Oliver so soon, was expecting it to go a few episodes at least.

After a long while in that cold, the last thing hypotermic Oliver needed was more cold.

You can't exactly get hypotermic if you're dead. And the last thing you need when trying to stich wounds together is for the blood to start spilling becaue it unfroze.

I'm going to call bullshit if they're going to claim anything other than that Oliver was dead and that that woman is a wizard. Even if he hasn't actually been out there for 4 days, there is no way that Oliver survived the stabbing and subsequent falling off a steep, rocky cliff.

I think what they're doing with Oliver and Maseo. Maybe the latter will take Tommy's place as Oliver's best friend. :p

(Probably not.)

When Laurel finishes her training and she hits the streets and she meets that wife-beater again. It's revenge time! And then she will get shot because boxing doesnt prepare you for that.CUE BLACK CANARY logo.

My guess is they drag out Oliver being dead or alive. The two will tell him he was only injured but say when Oliver is off screen he should have been dead and its dangerous to bring people back to life. I bet the season ends with Oliver finding out why he was saved and the Hong Kong story line ends with the couple being unable to do the same for their son. Poor kid :(

So Laurel goes through a rough patch in her life, where she's sad and depressed, and then fans hate her. Then they show her successfully fight two street goons in costume and now she's either redeemed or nearly redeemed.

Felicity does nothing but make awkward vaguely sexual references on accident and hack the planet with her Microsoft Surface and everyone loves her. Then she falls in love and shows some actual emotions (you know.. has some character development) and people flip (No Roy) on her.

It's Season 3 and it's on The CW. You guys really need to make your piece with the fact that there's going to be drama in the show and stop shitting on the characters that go through it.

I don't mind drama much as long as it's directly connected to superheroics. So:

Felicity going into panic mode because her costumes friends drop like flies / Laurel picking up the mantle after her sister = good
Laruel becoming alcoholic, Felicity flirting with Atom which had very little impact on the show so far, love triangles without costumed freaks = Bad.

After Flash and maybe Firestorm, Felicity is the greatest superhero across both shows. Her hacking abilities are godlike, she has the entire city at her command.

Isn't Diggle more or less that person now? They are partners and I would consider him his best friend.

I agree that love triangles are excessive and often forced but the other aspects of non-caped drama are what round out the show. Sticking with just action-based drama doesn't develop the characters as people.

I guess it was Tatsu's Lazarus Pit that saved Oliver... She get experimented on with the Omega and Alpha and gain healing powers? Or just more "magical herb" BS that they've had going since the first season? Convenient that she happens to be living and probably hiding out close by. Guessing the scenes of Maseo getting Oliver happened shortly after the duel and then caught up with everyone else at the end with Oliver waking up.

No more Roy flips is incredibly troubling to me. Thea is going to kill DJ D-bag right? He's gotta be a LoA minion or some shit to make him actually useful to Thea's story.

Sure, but it still needs to feel connected somehow. Feel like a part of the show. I think that's the real reason Laurel's alcoholism arc felt so flat - because it felt like something taken straight out of completely different show.

It should change now becaue Laurel is becoming vigilante. Even if any drama she goes through might not be directly connected to superheroics, it will still connected by the virtue of who she become, as it will be affecting both her personas - the normal human one and the one in the mask.

This cracked me up. Diggle pulling a second gun if that's change anything and Barrowmans reaction were just too much.

Training or not there is no way Malcolm Merlyn is dodging a bullet to the head.

Do people just not pay attention when the show is on? First we had a poster saying Oliver survived and they just healed him and now we're complaining about the convenince of Katana being there.

Maseo clearly tells Oliver that he asked her to come to bring Oliver back to life after the duel.

By the episode Oliver was dead indeed because at the end Maseo stated so, I don't get why you are arguing about that?

Great episode tho, one of the best this season. And bigger budget was used it seems! Hope the quality stays :)

Excuse me for missing or forgetting a little piece of dialog from watching it over 12 hours ago before I went to bed.

Meh, decent enough episode.

Loved Vinnie and pleased Diggle got more screen time. Surprised Ollie is back so soon, and if they didnt use the Lazarus Pit they definitely used magic of some sort.

My favorite part is still Thea throwing the dagger at Malcolm and he catches it.

"Dad!? I could have killed you!"
"That's cute that you think so." As he puts the dagger in his coat pocket and keeps talking.

If anyone doubts my prophetic powers, I wrote this two weeks ago. And yet foolish people doubted me...
Except that, him surviving the stab through the chest, the fall of hundreds of feet onto bare rock and the subsequent time exposed to freezing temperatures is more of a bloody miracle than just introducing the Lazarus Pit.

It was a letter opener, but yes that was amazing.

How many things thrown at his face has Merlyn caught now? someone make a gif!

Roy should flip into Merlyn and he catches him. That would just lock this show as the greatest thing in the world.

Felicity continues her slide into becoming nothing more than an irritating cliche

And I am not going to lie...Laurel in the costume was a little hot

Brick is extremely lucky? Did that bullet and arrow completely miss him?

Yeah he was shot at twice and I have no idea what happened.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brick_(comics)
Although his origin has not been revealed, Brick is a metahuman with a reddish, stony skin that grants him invulnerability and super-strength. His success as an underworld kingpin is due to his brilliant criminal mind rather than his superhuman powers.

I'd guess the on screen version of him is similar to that.
