Toon Link Amiibo in the house (a UK house mind)! You won't be disappointed in the quality of this one. Well, except for the actual posing of the hand holding the sword, which is kind of weird. Otherwise, really nice detail on his tunic, sword and shield. I'm fucking pumped for Megaman and Ness now.

Well after my first amiibo arrived a couple of days ago (Wii Fit Trainer) Ike, Bowser and Captain Falcon arrived today. Very impressed with them all but still hurts that Gamestop UK cancelled my Rosalina.
I tried to stay away from Amiibo because I knew I would want them all but here I am and they truly have their claws in me now. Guess I'm here to stay!

Hopefully, I can at least get Bowser + one of the others. I'm still missing a Cap and Pit from Wave 2, so they take auto priority.

Did it came from reliable source? It's weird that someone said that gamestop have Shulk amino in backroom unless someone is lying.
No street date isn't good. It will become even more messy.

I'm surprised the Samus and Link Amiibo's aren't. I would love to automatically get the armor sets and weapons for them that way.

Interesting... Well, I guess if Target has any others (aside from Rosalina) on the 1st, I may just buy them there instead of waiting for my GS or BBY preorders. I'm taking no chances this time around.

I wish Bigbadtoystore gave a better indication of when their Shulk will ship. I am so paranoid that I'll miss out on him.

Oh, he also said there was no limit. So no wonder they sold out in 5 minutes if everyone was buying like 100 at a time.

He said someone had returned a bunch of rares (including Villager) a few weeks back and then someone else had scooped them all up 10 minutes later. Apparently there are several people who come in to the store every single day looking for new stock and/or returns. He seems to think they are scalpers and not collectors.
2) No store pre-orders for the MM n3DS XL. :sadface
3) He couldn't tell me when they would have Rosalina for sale, but hinted that it would probably happen sooner rather than later (in February). This lines up with what people are thinking about the Feb. 1 release date. So, no confirmation... but as close to it as we can get.
4) I picked up Hyrule Warriors. Looking forward to playing it.

what Nintendo should do is take orders for each on their website . once there are enough orders to justify a production run they should do it.
Really hope it's possible. There's a GS right at the turn onto my street. Just want a guaranteed way to get it asap and lose my weekend to MH4!

You may be able to because Site to Store was possible day 1, you also may not because the item is no longer available... toss up really, not sure how that'll go.
Good to know. I'll be stalking mine from Feb. 1 onward. I'm betting it's February 6 based on Gamestop's schedule...but Best Buy is supposedly getting Meta Knight next week...

Ugh, I'm not even collecting all of Wave 3 and I'm still stressed about everything, even with the pre-orders. I hate this.
I love Nintendo but they've really fucked up with Amiibos. There is no defending their roll-out of this entire thing.

Best Buy has given me February 1st dates for Toon Link and Shiek. I also know that Bowser was updated to February 1st there as well.
The only way I can defend this, at least in the US, is they don't own the toy factories that are producing the amiibo, hence the wonky rollout schedule...at least that's my theory.
They can't even keep their UK store stocked, so...
I'm impressed. It SEEMS that wave 3 was stealth-released here. By stealth-released, I mean I haven't seen a *single* wave 3 Amiibo on any store... except a Sheik this afternoon (and got a confirmation that they received them a week in advance, with low stock). Other sellers in non-specialized stores didn't even know what I was talking about.
I expected the worst. They still managed to surprise me (in a bad way).
Not finding Ike is something. Rosalina seems hot stuff. But... no Bowser stock ? That doesn't even make sense...
