The TRU by me said they have some of the 3rd wave but the computer won't allow them to sell them until 2/1. He couldn't specify which ones were there.

Tears.

I think it was trying to process all our orders at the same time and the servers imploded, that's my guess

Damn I clicked submit order and it hanged there for about 2 minutes then shows the page expired. Went back to try to order again and looks like its gone :(

The same thing happened to me so I clicked submit again :.(
I logged back in to see if I had any orders and nada.
Now the strange thing is that credit card company called to verify the purchase went through TWICE so I honestly don't know what's going on. (Please say I got one)

UK-GAF here, got my Rosalina Amiibo today. Azula was right, it looks pretty good!

I hope you guys across the pond get a better situation over there soon. The situation here frustrates me sometimes, so I can't imagine that it's like over there.

Hey so dumb question, but preordering from frys is as good as anywhere else right. Was able to snag a preorder, but have never used them before.

I trust Frys in general, if only because I've shopped with them for years. A bit overpriced, but their selection is pretty godlike. I can only assume they're good about their preorders.

Well I have no idea if that went through or not.

Edit: also I like how all the twitter accounts for Amiibo stalk this page.
Hey, twitter accounts! Follow me @MottFree
<3 Makin hard out here for us

I think that's the largest problem for me. I only want a select few, but they happen to be mostly rare (Pit, Falcon, Ike, Shulk)

I am happy that we're getting them for all the characters but logistically speaking, I almost wonder if it was smarter for Nintendo to release just the Classics at first (in Nov), see how they sell and get a better gauge for supply, then in the spring, to perk up sales of Smash again, megaton announce they're going to be selling the entire Smash line over the summer.

I mean, we'd all have gone nuts for the 6 Classics. Then to announce the Smash line--and better yet, tag that with a re-release of the GC adapters?

Checked the US1 TRU here in Miami. Had to run in superquick due to my lunch break but I didn't see any new ones. And there were no employees around to ask.

Man, I really want to just run to TRU and check. I might not even buy any since I have everything on order at Gamestop, but just seeing NEW amiibos on the shelf would be SWEEEEET!

Too bad it's a busy day at work.

Well I guess I didn't get it. Just called Fry's and they said I have no orders.
Now I have two transactions in limbo that I need to cancel.

I'm going to go cry now.

It's just a little frustrating that stock is so limited. All collectible Nintendo stuff will sell eventually, that's almost a law of nature.

^ You got that right...

I think I'm going to step away from this. Sorry guys. :(

The way NoA has handled Amiibos over here has been awful. I think because I got into collecting late, it was fun hunting down Wave 1 and 2. But having to actively be collecting BEFORE Wave's come out, is such a shit experience. Lack of info, changing/scattered release dates/pre-order release dates for future wave's being random as fuck and not communicated.

That's not even getting into Nintendo doing a shit job supplying these, and doing really shitty things like giving away Amiibos to scummy corporations in the NA for exclusivity. I am at a point where I no longer care. So this isn't me like, losing my shit. I'm actually laughing at this. I can't believe how absurdly bad this whole thing is being run.

But I would rather free up my time and money, and not waste my time on this if Nintendo is going to keep yanking us around. I have a gf that will soon be my fiance. I have my trip in Japan in Feb that I have to plan for. Just feels tiresome having to deal with all of this. Having to wait for 3 release dates in all of Feb? No thank you. It's such a joke. Other places can just walk into any store and get Wave 3's with no hassle. But not in NoA -- that would be too easy. :P I figured I would get all of this out of the way Feb 1st, then have some time to wait for Wave 4 in March/April (and I could pre-order those).

I think if you approach this casually (which you should) then, you just roll with the punches and it's fine. I actually have taken up a similar attitude to not care so much. So I'm not angry or upset. More so, just looking at how ridiculous this entire thing is. Even on a casual level, that it requires you to wait and wait and then keep up with the changing dates. Yeah. I'm just done. I'll still go to stores on Feb 1st and try to grab some Extra Rosalina. I will still ship out any Amiibos I've promised to everyone.

But in terms of actively collecting, I think this killed it for me. But it's okay, I have a lot going on (getting engaged soon!). So I'm super happy.

All this talk and photos of super rare Amiibos in stock and on display.

I've been looking at the local shops and I haven't even seen a single Mario, damnit. It's not one I want, but you'd expect the shops to be completely flooded with 'em.

Azula it is ridiculous. Nintendo is not communicating with retailers at all. Imposed street dates, no street dates, some stores selling some arent. It does become a bit much
