It's toysrus. They've fucked lucario preorders a number of times, so of course they'd sell them on the floor first.

Say my brother came up to me and said his girlfriend made him miserable and explained why, and they were legit reasons. I then told him to break up with her, and he agreed. He broke up with her.

Then a week later he comes up and says "Yeah, I broke up with her, but she came back and cried on my shoulder, and I took her back. But she's making me so depressed. What should I do?" I'd give him the same advice, but this time be wary.

Another week later, same thing. I'd tell him to solve his own issues.

I personally don't care. I just ignore them. But if it's bothering people, then they should be able to say that it's bothering them. Azula can either stop posting or ignore them. It's not hard to ignore those posts, as you advised people to do. But this is all I'm going to post on the topic, as I seriously don't mind anyone voicing their opinions and thoughts (whether it's Azula, a troll, or a compassionate soul). Post what you want.
 
I would be so pissed off to have a display like this and see Nintendo announce a bunch of new characters for DLC with their Amiibo. :p
 
It would be stupid of Nintendo not to have a couple GAF insiders, especially in a major amiibo thread.

Asking if specific waves are released yet from different sources is completely different from the same source stating they're quitting collecting amiibos three separate occasions. I rarely respond on this forum but when I read the same long dissertation three times, like I said, it gets old and redundant. I only said so when a few other posters brought up the same issue and I added my two cents. As a poster, I'm just pointing out my opinion that one time is enough to get the point across. I would certainly hope my words don't affect anyone, especially not on a video game forum.

Where is our Regular N3ds?
Why were GC adapters so limited here?
Why are you allowing amiibo to be a scalper Frenzy?
Why doesn't NoA get to make cool stuff happen here?

1. Bad example. Saying "it's getting old" is NOT advice. You explained giving advice to your brother.
2. I would never give up on my brother regardless of how many poor decisions he made and how he was going against my advice.
3. Sure people can say what they want but they need to understand the consequences. They won't have to deal with the consequences but those words can affect who they are directed towards. To me, what was being said was pointless and would not end with a positive result.
4. If you don't care why chime in?

If you have read his posts then I guess I can't help you understand his situation anymore than you already know. You could have given your two cents more thoughtfully but you came off very insensitive. Replying to you and others here is getting old. Does that sound nice? Not really. And your words affect others regardless of where it is. Hey I'm going to tell you a joke "you're stupid! Hahahaha!" You say it's a joke but it's still messed up and probably shouldn't have been said. And why say anything at all if you hope it doesn't affect anyone?? Plus he's obviously dealing with issues none of us can even imagine. No need to be so harsh.
 
This Toys R Us schlock is disgusting. Based on my schedule, I really need Best Buy and/or GameStop to be on time. And for Amazon to open Wave 4/Toad pre-orders soon.

NoA's been laughable since the N64 era, but the Wii U/3DS era has definitely been their low point. Seriously hoping they offer Amiibos on Club Nintendo in February. I'd say that I'd hope they'll learn from their understocking between both Majora's Mask Limited Editions, the GCN Adapter, and everything Amiibo-related so far, but let's be honest here: the worst has yet to come.

Yeah, and even with the characters already announced, we're still not sure what, if anything, will happen with Mii Fighter amiibos

So I think we can probably conclude that Sheik will be at least one of the rare figures in Wave 3. Toon Link and Bowser will be pretty common, judging by your photo, and Lucario probably will be stocked well (but may sell out quickly).

You are correct since they only get 4 Sheik Amiibos in my location.

20-ish Bowser Amiibo, 12-14 Toon Link Amiibo and only 4 Sheik Amiibo
 
Too bad about the Nintendo Ninjas. I'm not in driving distance of any TRU in the US; would have been willing to go in with something on trying to grab a Lucario and have it shipped here (I'm in PA).

Not necessarily true. The day I picked up Little Mac and Diddy Kong, I ended up getting the last Diddy Kong in the store. There were still about 5 Little Macs left. I haven't seen one since (this was December 12th).

Pretty much.
This day of internet it should be little issue to making products on demand.
However, a Kotaku article I read really opened my eyes in that Japan is a stickler for old traditions. Now it makes total light of some of the decisions made.
Pretty much Nintendo doesn't want to adapt to an online market.
 
It kind of irks me that Lucario is (was) out on the floor for sale. I have one of those pre-order cards and was told I'd get an email when they came in. I didn't get an email, yet people are just walking in and getting them.

Now, to be fair, I don't know if my TRU even put Lucario out, but I guarantee you that some of the stores that were selling him didn't hold any back for pre-orders.
 
So, looking at the price of MP10. Does anyone else think that games that have "big" Amiibo features or of scale similar to what MP10 offers, will be discounted at retail from other full-fledged titles with tertiary Amiibo use?

This is, of course, assuming that MP games have not always shipped for cheaper than other retail titles.

Bowser, Sheik and Toon Link got released early today. Few stores broke the release date for Lucario Amiibo since his street date should be Jan 31/Feb 1.

According to worker, Corporate told them to release them today.
 
Gotcha, thanks for the responses guys. Then I´ll go tonight and see what I can find, I have all my orders fulfilled but might as well get a few extras in case they are not fulfilled.l
 
Just talked to my TRU guy. He said the last Amiibo shipement they got was Captain Falco. There's four sitting here on the shelf (are these rare at all?). He said they don't have any Wave 3, not even Lucario, their own exclusive. Really weird that they haven't gotten any stock.

You dun goofed up NoA.

I found a captain falcon on the shelf at best buy the other day, it's weird.
