That stinks that the store let them, too. I wish more places had ways of putting rules in place on specialty goods like this. Heck, even Beanie Babies had various rules on it! Actually decent ones to prevent scalping (but made it kinda hard with collectors).
Now if only the game itself would go back up

My local one last night doesn't even have shipments in yet, in which they usually receive them a few days before the date. Remember, it's ONLY TRU breaking street date and putting them out early.
I forgot to ask where they were in transit, though.

I don't understand why stores let people do this, aside from "Hey, if we sell them, we sell them."
I wonder how some scalpers like this even get the damn money to do that. Not counting tax, 50 amiibo at $13 each is a whopping $650.

If they do this, they should AT LEAST be banned from returning anything from all retailers. I know there's a system in place to track it, but I hope that system works for these crazy scalpers.
Like I mentioned before, the area is the last place to get stuff sometimes. Although someone was saying how some stores across the peninsula got some in.
Maybe it depends on better-performing stores or something? Like, they get in first dibs.

San Mateo had them in last night. Lots of Bowsers. Maybe some Toon Links left, but the guy after me got the last Shiek.
I tried yesterday nada.
Honestly I think there might be better luck in the Livermore side of things. I noticed that they received stuff there early on, considering other collectibles.

Edit: just called; they got there shipments yesterday and are already sold out of Toon Link and Shiek. Guess I'll just wait for my GameStop pre-orders then. Or for Target to get theirs, whatever comes first.

Anyone wanting a Majora's Mask 3DS XL....in some regions Gamestop is doing WIS sales. You have to go to Gamestop to order though. They just came back up in some regions. Thought I would let you know before the scalpers get them. If the employee says they aren't selling tell them to double check WIS because people in certain regions are able to order

It is funny to think about. My salary allows about $300 a month for misc. stuff. My method is I eat at home a lot when I know a big gaming month is coming up. It easily costs $15 to eat at a nice place.
