That's what he sent me earlier. We usually send pics like this when we get new ones. He told me he's seen others with them on Twitter and eBay, I haven't checked though. Still waiting at TRU for him to grab a Bowser before heading over. Hopefully this pic works, it's a pain to do it on my phone without it screwing up.

Damn today was actually pretty shitty. Was supposed to be excited going to different stops to check out Amiibo stocks at different places. I ordered all of mine online but I like being able to physically go to shops and find them.
But this week has been complete shit. I did a mini rant yesterday but today was just even worse. My plan was to go to Toys R Us before work to grab a couple of Amiibos but since work isn't going well, I had to prioritise and go to work first. The problem though is the amount of work I have (because someone left) just got dumped on me so I've gotta really just get on with it but it's really fuckin' stressful. Every time I finally get something right, a million things go wrong as a result. It's never a straight forward thing. So I'm admittedly a bit fucked but I've just gotta get on with it. So that's kinda killed this week.

What's worse is that's I've been pretty ill too. I got hyped on Monday when I managed to order 3 Wii Fit Trainers but got food poisoning and then off on Tuesday. But my throat has been swollen since and I'm still pretty ill(but I got my Wii Fit Trainers that day). But I haven't eaten or slept well since Tuesday.

So now on Friday(Wave 3 launch) day, my initial plans of going around London hunting Amiibos and making a wave 3 launch video are gone. I went to GAME to get my physical pre-order (Lucario) and that was it. I had to order everyone else online because I don't have the time to be buying Amiibos. Eve more is that I had to cancel going to a friends birthday party tomorrow(Saturday) just so I can dedicate time to finishing this project. I bought him one of those Toon Links I posted earlier this week. So I just cancelled on him. What also made the day bad still trying to redeem the Toys R Us by visiting them after work. So I made a gamble to travel to to a Toys R Us near me but they wouldn't pick up the fucking phone. 9:20pm and they wouldn't pick up so I can't confirm if it's worth going or not (because they might not even have any in stock). So yeah. Missed my last coach home. Got the train home while this drunk dude was talking to me and ladies beside me about how his ears are missing(I dunno). Rainy walk home and then rant about it on GAF.
I still have Saturday to really finish this.
And I never managed to get King Dedede. I haven't been trying though... Amiibos are the only positive thing to look forward to right now. But you just gotta push through some serious shit sometimes.

How was everyone elses Wave 3?
 
So has anyone else had to deal with in store preorders in TRU being sold before you got there with the new ones? (Toon Link, Bowser, Shiek)
If so how did you deal with it? :/

Yes, but they usually hold them, so chances of them selling them before are low. But do go get them as soon as you heard they are released because they can sell them after a week or less.

Take this with a grain of salt, but our planagram here at Target has three hooks reserved just for Rosalina come the first. Usually the rare Amiibos only had one set beforehand(with us usually only getting four of each).

Didn't happen to me with a pre-order, but did happen for a Diddy Kong on in-store pickup. They cancelled it and gave back money, I didn't have a say in it.
 
Reading all those posts about Sonic makes me glad I pre-ordered him a few weeks ago at GS. Just sucks it seems he won't be out until the end of the month with Mega Man.

So you are getting only 12 or 12 plus restocks in the back of the store?
 
Sitting here at GameStop and I think I made it in time for a MM N3DS XL.

Asked about Shulk but I think that ship sailed a long time ago. Said the best I can do is come in the day they have them and grab an extra if they get any. As with some GS they only get what they have on order so... gotta rely on luck!

To be frank, I think people whom missed their chance with Sheik should able to call for it before anyone that already have their own Sheik Amiibo. It should applied to any characters. It wouldn't be fair for other people if people are getting second "character" amiibo right?

They were held in the back when I went there today, something must of went askew at your particular toys r us.

Yeah, I'm not to worried about the retailer exclusives, they usually get a ton (remember u guys have a ton of that exclusive skylanders guy all over).
 
Nippon Yasan has almost every amiibo in stock right now, but some of them (the rare ones) are price hiked.

Still, bought a Shiek and Bowser off of them for $35 shipped. So long as my preorders pan out that's all of wave 3 secured.

Damn amiibo collecting.

Yeah I'm pretty sure we still have some of those skylanders in the back. That's why I haven't been too worried about rosalina.
even though I paid $30 for one from amazon overseas just to be safe

If I was paying attention I would've noticed the damn packet at the bottom of Lucario that's a staple in the UK and not NA.

Awww man, it's *already* gone? Yeah, I caught one, and I guess that I'm sure glad that I did because I honestly didn't think that it would be gone THAT quick. This Amiibo scene never ceases to be freakin cutthroat... amazing.
