Oh yeah

A close up of no ass. Owh.... yeah. Bring back OG Canary!

she's not considered ariyan since shes jewish.. She would be a semite...

A Jewish person may take issue with the terminology and baggage behind "aryan."
I always used "aryan" to refer to the appearance characteristic of blue eyes, blonde hair and a well build body. Guess I and my friends use the term too much on casual basis to describe these kind of people (and the Nazis themselves were pretty wonky in defining what a jew is, since they arbitrarily declared some jews to be non-jews), I can see how that could be of putting, sorry. I was intending to use it to point out that Bane is probably not of the same ethnic as Felicity.

Spoilers from EW:
Q: Do you have any Arrow scoop on Sin’s return?

A. You can thank Brick’s plan to take over the Glades for her return. “We have to go back to the Glades to check things out and check on some people and survey the area,” Colton Haynes tells me. “I finally get to see Sin again and might recruit her to come help us along the way.” Speaking of returning faces, when Ra’s al Ghul pops back up in Starling City, the team may find an ally in Nyssa… until she finds out who really killed Sara. “Thea really has to watch her back,” Haynes says. “I feel back because it’s not her fault. It’s Malcolm’s fault.”

Almost finishing up S1 of Shield and I gotta say I am really enjoying it after it hit it's stride.
Really enjoying the characters and drama honestly. Very genuine.

Spoilers from EW:

Makes enough sense. Arrow's generally at its best when it can twist around the interpersonal dynamics a bunch (which is why they've basically gotta bring Tommy back at some point).

I'm just glad that this arc is hopefully going to finally give Roy something to do, actual motivations, development, et cetera. I think it's pretty much a certainty that the point of Brick is to give a concrete villain to the crippled Team Arrow and I'm sure he won't last more than a few episodes.

So, people question Laurel putting on a custom, taking some hi-tech and hitting two almost incapacitated dudes with a huge metal stick but Roy turned into a super-hero without as much as proper training and no one did even mention it?

Sure internet, sure..*sigh*

And I still don't like Laurel's character that much (liked her much better in season one. She just seems so grumpy and whiny all the time now and I just don't buy it). Comes over as spoiled brat instead of going through hard times and wanting to do the right thing..
Dunno, the end was a bit "anti-climatic". All went really fast and without any proper explanation. They might still do that but still..it's like: Nope - Oh hello!

Roy grew up in the Glades and was kicking ass long before he met Oliver. He's also been training under Oliver for like a solid year by now, I think?

The queer thing about Laurel is that she was shown to be kicking ass competently in season 1 when multiple baddies went after her. Then in season 3 she apparently can't even take on one wifebeating degenerate? C'mon, son.

Oliver been alive is bull-crap way to soon. They should of left it for a few weeks

It's not like they would ever actually fool anyone with that. Maybe in a different sort of story it'd make sense but the show is *about* him and that's clearly not going to cease to be the case.

The most interesting thing in storytelling isn't holding back mysteries, it's exploring the consequences of them, IMO.

Sure, he woke up, but it can take the entire season for him to get back to the team so there's that.

I dont think we will see oliver for a while.

Ollie falling from that height makes him even being alive ridiculous. About half-way down the cliff I was expecting to see him, but the camera just kept going. lol
Not to mention being stabbed right through by a sword while not exactly dressed for a cold climate.

Comic books and all that, of course. Still kind of absurd considering how they usually try to keep Arrow fairly grounded in reality.

All I'm hoping is that they use some kind of Lazarus allusion to how they brought him back. Those injuries are way too severe for "modern medicine". They've laid the ground work by saying Ra's was like 70, yet looked like he was in his late 40's. I'd be awesome if Ollie was a bit crazy and uncontrollable when he first wakes up.

really awful episode, this season has been terrible so far. Cringe worthy acting at times, lame romancing, senseless plot. not really liking this show anymore

Wait, was Oliver out there in the cold for three whole days? I was half asleep when I watched the episode but it only just dawned on me that's what the episode seemed to imply.

Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat, thinking of calling it quits outside of Flash crossover episodes. Loved season 2 to pieces but nothing is clicking with me this year.

Glad this is back, I really liked what they did to Felicity in this episode, people as usual complain about female character not being Mary Sues, she grieving really helped me take Ray seriously as a character instead of the really shitty Tony Stark rip-off that he has been for a while now, hopefully we see a more of this stern side of him.

And my man Diggle really needs an upgrade soon, even Chesthair is gonna whoop him at this rate. Vinnie Jones still the man.

There's also a matter of the quality of training.

Oliver was trained by Slade, Shado, Yao-Fei, Waller, Maseo and Tatsu, and who knows who else in the remaining two years of his exile. Roy was trained by Oliver. Diggle supplemented his Army training with training from Oliver.

Malcolm and Sarah were trained by the League of Assassins. Thea was trained by Malcolm.

Laurel was trained by Wildcat, who we have not seen in enough action to judge if he is in the same league as the other mentors, but most likely not.

Theoretically right now Thea should be able to take on Laurel- she trained longer with a better mentor.

Sigh.

Another year of Laurel getting her ass kicked, this time in a sexy costume.

Goddammit.

I swear to God, she'd better fucking kill Brick. I'd like it if she just supplemented her lack of training and experience with more gadgets and just being more clever and resourceful than Oliver, Roy, and Digg. Like, just use solutions they wouldn't think to, and come out on top. Compensate for other stuff with some crazy dangerous tech.

I pray for Laurel, in her dollar bin Canary outfit, to attack Thea over Sara. Thea, decked out in her parachute pants, proceeds to tear Laurel apart. It would be the best fight scene ever.

Literally every shot of Laurel in that video was either her flailing or her failing.

WHY IS IT SO HARD, GUGGENHEIM

This may actually happen.

But we all know it'll be like, Thea all confused as to what's happening, and Oliver trying to calm Laurel down even though Thea can whoop her ass like nobody's business.

This is really stretching is some areas. Receiving some pointers on this or that isn't exactly "being trained."

Also.. I'd argue that Wildcat is still alive after his Vigilante stint. Which puts him, at the very least, as smarter than Ollie.
Sorry but it's true

Plus, we don't know how long Wildcat was active for. From what we've seen, he probably had rougher going than Roy at least, since he's running around in a balaclava, brass knuckles, and knives. Basically just hunting and beating people down in the street instead of flipping everywhere. Maybe he was running around for five or six years, which actually would make his vigilante stint longer than anyone else's.

Smarter as in "not taking on anything serious and knowing when to quit"? Well..true :D That makes him smarter person, but also makes him a crappy vigilante :)

Did he succeed at taking some guys down? Yes? Successful Vigilante; Confirmed.

Well, a city-wide conspiracy mant to destroy the Glades was happening right under his nose and he didn't even notice :) Plus he quit before the city was fixed. The whole Starling was going to crapper more and more and he just retired. So crappy vigilante confirmed.

HE BEAT A MAN TO DEATH, LAUREL. TO DEATH. AS IN NOT ALIVE ANYMORE. WITH HIS BARE HANDS. HE BEAT HIM. TO DEATH. HE EXTINGUISHED THE LIFE FROM HIS EYES. HE'S DEAD, LAUREL. SIX YEARS NOW. BEATEN TO DEATH. THIS ONE DRUG DEALER THAT HE BEAT TO DEATH IN HIS ILLEGAL VIGILANTE ACTIVITIES!

? Ray Palmer was around before Tony Stark.

Oh God, another episode of Laurel fucking up and getting her ass kicked.

Why do you hate her so, Arrow writers' room

And I'm thankful for that. She's not a vigilante yet and shouldn't have skills like one.

Vigilante =/= Hero. Vigilante's tend to get vengeance rather than justice. And also.. the following:

^^^ I rest my case.

Do you always have this quote handy? Or do you re-type it every time? XD

I never saw the problem with that. First, we know Olie can be a hypocrite, but second, he wasn't really objecting to her being buddies with the guy, but to him training her and he was just as against himself training her. Bassicaly all he wanted is to keep her away from this line of work.

That makes me think...lol..how is Laurel going to balance her work with this? Everybody else on the team is either unemployed or has job he can ignore if necessary :D
