Ok... so I went today to Hamburg, Germany. some of you probably know by now that that store has everything.... amiibo section looked like this some hours ago. (pic taken by me with my phone)

you two win and I fail cause I didn't notice that Zelda wasn't there too.
I thought lil mac was the only one missing.
So quick question to continue with my previous post. Assuming I can't find Rosalina or Shulk, what Wave 3 character would make for a good giveaway, in case I need to do a backup? Perhaps Ike or Sheik if I can find one of them? I'd prefer to not do Bowser or Toon Link since I'm sure two won't be as hard and I'd rather give away an amiibo considered uncommon or rare.

Man I fucked up!!! I thought I preordered Sheik. Turns out. I didn't. Thank god I just order one from Amazon.co.uk before she goes super rare. But in Germany they just call all "rares" commons because sweet god that photo is nuts. I wish I lived there right now

Bizarre. It's reached the point Where I could buy Zelda, Diddy, or Luigi in-person at will if I still needed to. They're just sitting there in every store I stroll through.
And that pic is missing both Zelda and Mac as far as I can tell.

that's hilarious, Toys R Us has barely a third of that in the US, everywhere else is worse.

New OT comes at around 20k posts. We still have a while to go.
Hit up the closest Toys R Us here (NW Indiana) which is about 45-50 min away for me. In the main Amiibo section they probably had around 16-20+ Bowsers, none of the other ones, though there was an empty spot for Toon Link. I did find a smaller section by the registers that was seemingly untouched with probably 12 more Bowsers and 8 Toon Links (as well as some of the more common ones), so I grabbed a Toon Link. It's one of the better looking ones in my opinion.

I would pay $20 just for a Villager, it's 10x better than paying $50-100
I've been out of the loop for a bit, do we have any idea on what a ship date on Wave 3 from Amazon (US) might be? I thought it was like February 13th or so when I pre-ordered a few of them a while back, but my order is showing no delivery estimate. I need to know BEFORE they ship, if it's going to be in the next few days I need to cancel it
There's still a couple of european online shops with villagers available...
Seing Rosalinas, on the other hand...

I am amazed people can be so tone deaf to a thread. Why would you come into a "community" thread where people share information and sell at cost to each other and brag about scalping. If you have even read a few pages in here you would see that is a very unpopular topic and to post pictures and brag about your "haul" is pretty rude in my opinion. People in the thread use email tags to hide info from lurkers and scalpers and someone comes in here boasting about it? The internet never fails to surprise me. That's not really going to make a dent in any debt. Zelda and Bowser are common. Other than the holy trinity it's not even worth the time or fees. I would suggest staying in the buy sell trade thread.

I don't scalp, but I'm always interested in the reasons that people do. This is the Amiibo thread after all, and scalping, for better or worse, is one facet to the subject.
