Went to Toys'R'Us last night and didn't see any (though I did see a Sheik tag with nothing under it), called again today and the guy said they had two, and he'd put one aside for me. Went to pick it up, and he pulled two Regular Links out from behind the counter. I was like no maaan TOON Link, so he checked in back and they actually did have two of them back there. He needed another guy to come by and check them out. While I was looking them over to decide which one to buy, this girl who had been milling around the Amiibos appeared next to me, clearly triggered by my Fresh Score, and asking about the Links or Sheik. I handed her the lesser of my two Links, feelin pretty good about not being some scumlord trying to buy out all the stock by my lonesome. Further querying of the stock guy yielded some Bowsers and Lucarios also in back, but curiously no Sheiks, despite the tag in the aisle. Toon Link was all I wanted, but the girl seemed pretty hyped about the Bowser and Lucario. The guy rang me out and was like "heh heh uh do you know if I'm supposed to be selling you this," I reassured him that the Internet seemed to corroborate the notion of Toys'R'Us being All Clear.
So hooray. That's it for me, this phase. Will re-enter the wilds once I can get me a Charizard. And maybe Mario/Luigi/Tode in the new non-SSB series.

Yesterday I only had time to go to one department store, where they told me a single person had bought all 50 units they got in the morning (I already told this in this thread).
Well, I found more cases like this.
- In another Carrefour they told me a single person spent more than 300 to buy everything they had in stock.
- In Fnac they told me there are some people that seem to know when they are receiving merchandise (usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and they wait in line before they open. With the newest wave, they arrived first in the morning and bought them all (again).
- I went to TRU, Game and every single place that could sell amiibos in my city (and even took a bus to go to the nearest town with a Carrefour) and everything, absolutely everything, is sold out.
I'm missing Rosalina, Little Mac and Pit: the holy trinity of impossible to find amiibos, as it seems.

If anyone has suggestions for "back-up" amiibo from Wave 3 (not including Meta Knight & Lucario) I could give away in the chance I can't find Shulk &/or Rosalina, go ahead and let me know. I'd rather give away a newer and/or more uncommon figure than something older &/or common.

I still haven't seen one. It seems that the rare ones are, at least here in Spain:
From the first wave: Kirby, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Marth.
From the second wave: I would say all of them except Luigi and Diddy. Little Mac is really really really rare, from what I've been reading.
From the third wave: All of them are quite rare, except Bowser and Toon Link. Rosalina is the really hard to find from this one.
Yeah, I was gonna stay away from Toon Link & Bowser because I figured they'd be rather easy to find.
I gotta see about Meta Knight. I have a friend who works at Best Buy that's trying to see if he can get me & a few other friends one, but I have to see if he can just get the ones for us. I don't know if he can send me two.
Ike & Dedede were probably my main back-ups, especially since I wanted those two as well and people might want them for Codename Steam & Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.
I was checking over here and it seems like I can get one easy for 15 euros. Shipping to Spain would cost 9 euros without tracking or 13 with tracking. So if you want one let me know. Due to shipping it's quite expensive sadly.

that "dream amiibo pic" I took today will very likely only happen in that saturn in Hamburg which is the biggest in the country and maybe in the one in Berlin, in Alexanderplatz, the 2nd biggest.

To be honest, I'm trying to avoid extra charges hoping that Nintendo will produce more stock in the future and we are all going to look dumb when we see the stores with all the amiibos in their shelves in the summer.
Anyway, I'm curious to know what's in there.
Pretty big city. It's the biggest city in southern Spain. I think that's the reason scalpers are getting everything. I bet this is not happening in smaller places.
I've been getting a lot of help from friends lately with Amiibo hunting. One friend is giving me his spare Little Mac (Bless him). Another friend secured a preorder for Pit for me while I was at work. In return, I preordered him a Sonic Amiibo (his favorite character). I've also got Amiibros to help out around the 1st if I can find any extra of Wave 3. I'm having more fun collecting these than I initially thought I would.
Can I borrow this friend?
It's quite tempting, considering it's almost impossible to get it here, but I think I'm going to wait a little bit longer. I'm spending way to much on this, so I'm trying to avoid extra costs.

I haven't seen a single good amiibo display in the UK. I've just seen a single shelf (maybe three if lucky) of common amiibo.
Yeah, as long as it's available it's a small effort for me. I wish shipping in Europe was a bit cheaper. But shipping an amiibo within The Netherlands is already 6,95. Postage prices went up like crazy over the years. I remember shipping packages for 5 euros.

No, Walmart had it up but won´t take any order, it always send it to an empty car, I tried for about am hour.
