I was reading through some earlier posts in this topic, and there is, indeed, nothing wrong with meeting people online. My brother is emigrating to the US next month after a four year relationship with a girl he met from the internet. If you can cope with the distance -and the money that comes from travelling- then it can work out really well.

I haven't never dated a person living in another country, but I have been hanging out with people I have met online. I have even had a three week roadtrip with one American gaffer that I met on Xbox. Hahah, good times. :p

So yeah, in my books it is all good. :D

I'm almost to the point of buying gloves just for the bench. I get callouses are fine and I don't mind at all but there are no callouses for your palms and lower hand where you grip a bench. And when I'm rep-ing 245-265lbs I find that sometimes I want to finish a set early just because my hand hurts.

What are the plans for today realgaf?
 
Messed around a bit more with the drums on my song. I'm undecided if I want to add a bass guitar track or not. I think it's fine without it because of the guitar track octave effect, but maybe it would be good to have for the solo bits, since that part drops out. If I can find my guitar pick, I'll rerecord at least the first solo. I used a MicroSD to SD card adapter instead, which was a bit funny to play with.

Here it is if anyone is interested in hearing it.

So, uh, yeah, this place I've moved into.... it's uh..... yeah.

I'm living in a cellar. It's attached to the basement, but it's obviously not supposed to be a bedroom. It's freezing in here and there are no electrical outlets, so I'm running a 45 ft extension cord from the other end of the basement into here.

There's a toilet and a stand-up shower, but for whatever reason the previous owner decided to install them and not build an actual room, so they're just out in the middle of the basement. I checked under the shower and found out that the drain isn't actually connected to anything, so any water (I didn't check to see if the shower was even hooked up to water) would just run right onto the basement floor.

"Did anyone check to see if the shower downstairs works?" I asked one of my roommates. "Nope," she responds. Oh, cool.

The rest of the house is a complete disaster. I understand that my friend just bought the house at the end of November/beginning of December, but there's just shit everywhere. The kitchen is unusable. The sink is full of dirty dishes, that have migrated onto the counter. The stovetop has a bunch of shit burned onto it. The garbage can is overflowing. There is not an inch of counter space in there. The dining room table is completely piled with... random stuff. The upstairs bathroom, which is now being shared by three women, is not much better. I don't think the toilet has been cleaned since she bought the place, and a cardboard box is currently serving as a trashcan. There is dog hair and dust EVERYWHERE. Walk around and your socks turn black.

I sent a text to my friend (who also owns the home), offering to help clean things up if she wanted to. Haven't heard anything back. $325 a month for this. The two who live here are good friends of mine, but oh my god this is going to test my patience.

EDIT: And I can't say anything to my girlfriend because if I have running water and electricity, I shouldn't complain.
