Musou game.
Hahaha, so true.
We'll get that Green Arrow game some day...
Amen to that.

A Green Lantern game would be cool, but logically it's impossible to deliver on the "create anything" aspect (not that comic writers do anyway). A space based multi planet open world game where you could choose between multiple lanterns with different constructs for abilities would be cool though.
Some things can stop/kill him.How would a Superman game even work?
You're fucking Superman, nothing can kill you.
It's like you're using cheats.

I meant in relation to Batman, in my perfect little world Batman exists in a vacuum.
Yeah I feel the same way. Superman could put Batman out of the job in one night if he wanted to. Why doesn't he? Cause reasons, shut up. Nah, just better to pretend its not even a factor really.
Most comic heroes were created in vacuums anyways and mashed together with no regards to compatibility, because money. Toss that rubbish.
Wouldn't surprise me if we saw a Superman boss battle, you know, he's controlled by something. You get suited up, have to beat him down etc. Basically what's been done in the comics and all times before.

Nah, not true. There's no way Superman could get rid of the corruption deeply rooted in Gotham overnight or even with years of investigative journalism and expose's. There's also no way he'd be any more or less effective than Bats except MAYBE saving people from a runaway train or explosion or something.
Dude no. Joker could take control of superman just by using kryptonite infused joker toxin.
I meant just take out all the super villains. The general corruption don't need a man in a costume to fix it. Truth is Batman could never fix that shit the way he operates. But is Superman existed, he would fly in and take out the Joker day one. Probably take out Batman too. Oh wait, he tried, but lost, because reasons.
That brings up another issue. I can suspend disbelief in comics a lot, but Superman pushes it too far. He's so overpowered they have to restrict him in really artificial ways to keep him relevant. That just makes for a terrible character, the opposite of Batman, who is a great character because he actually has interesting and logical limitations. He faces real challenges. Superman doesn't. Batman and Superman do not mix at all, they are polar opposite characters that exist in polar opposite worlds.
lol, exactly. Kryptonite is exactly why Superman is a shit character. He's only weaknesses a contrived plot device.
Dude no. Joker could take control of superman just by using kryptonite infused joker toxin.
And that's just Joker, the corruption in Gotham is something you don't stop just by punching things. Batman also goes after drug dealers, illegal dog fights, serial killers... Things that require extracting info and investigating
Superman just punches what's in front of him. He doesn't have the brains to figure out that A bad guy plus B killer must be a plan of C villain.

Edit: Superman has built so much Kryptonian technology and learned so much about the biology of himself/people from archives on top of learning this Kryptonian language, why do people think he's just some muscle-brained dude punching what's in front of him?
Because if he was less perfect and had some flaws, maybe he'd be an interesting character.

Again, read more comics. He's never portrayed as perfect or invincible. This is your built in bias speaking, not proved out by canon. You just sound uninformed to someone who knows better.
He sounds perfect and invincible when all of his fans keep reminding you that he's more resistant to kryptonite than you think, smarter than you think, knows more fighting techniques than you think, etc.

A Superman game is the next logical step for Rocksteady after this... wouldn't be surprised if the stories are linked.
superman makes a bad comic because there's so little you can do with the character, and would make an even worse game.
wrap him in cryptonite for the whole game? okay, well, then he doesn't have powers and it may as well not be a superman game.
don't wrap him in cryptonite? okay, well, he's god. that makes for a fun game.
Kryptonite.
Magic.
Red Sun energy.
Psycic attacks.
Physical/energy attacks stronger than his durability.
There's so much more that can hurt Supes than a rock, ANY punch strong enough can hurt him.
Rather have a Flash game then Superman game.
Truth. I remember when the footage of that cancelled Flash game came out.

I think rocksteady could do it justice maybe
Oh, and Rocksteady's next game should totally be a Batman Beyond title.
A proper Superman game could be a blast. Just don't go greek-level with his powers. Keep him in line with the 90s animated series, Smallville, Birthright, etc.
New 52 Supes, from what I've read, is fine powers-wise. He hasn't been ridiculous for a looooong time.
Superman is, however, an investigative reporter. There are plenty of times in the comics he has used his occupation as Clark Kent to ferret out evidence or information he needs to do his job as Superman. It's the main reason he took a reporter job in the first place.
Rocksteady doesn't seem too interested in doing a Superman game.
Yeah. I loved the Morrison run where he wasn't even flying yet.
Reading some of this thread, it's evident a lot of haters haven't read a single Superman comic.

Edit: Again, terrible criticism. Also, Batman's most interesting aspect is that he's "just a guy" and that doesn't speak to who he is as a character, good or bad, just that he's instantly "interesting" because he's just a guy that can be hurt by normal stuff.
Yay, the age-old Superman/Batman argument. I doubt this is anything but a fun reference.
I hope not, I prefer to pretend Superman doesn't exist.
Well, an entire comics company bread and buttered themselves on relatable characters like a bullied high school student and people facing discrimination by society, and they seem to be doing pretty well today.
He really is a shitty ass super hero.
Going by comics/shows, they tend to use these plot devices:I feel like, if you put Superman in the game (which they won't, it's just an easter egg), you then need to explain why Superman just isn't handling this problem in like a second.
There are characters like that all over every publisher...
Nope.
He really is a shitty ass super hero.
There have been tons of stories where Superman has been challeneged. Kryptonite isn't even a main factor in most of his great stories.superman makes a bad comic because there's so little you can do with the character, and would make an even worse game.

Fan boys or Trollin' no worries just let them be. We all know Superman is awesome! I remember I hated the Superman Returns game but sometimes I'd fire it up just to fly around.
Rocksteady's next game:
Superman: Metrpolis Asylum.
Well, Superman obviously isn't a god-tier detective like Batman, but you are underrating his intelligence so much it's apparent you've never read a comic or seen a tv episode of his at all.

Yeah. Flying was great. Wish they'd build a game off that flying mechanic.
