I only saw one (mine), but they could have had more. It seems weird that they would only get ONE but, if they got more than that, why did they only bring one for me when they brought about four each of Bowser and Toon Link.

So, after I went to TRU today, I went to Gamestop to cancel my reserves on those three. Does that mean they'll have an extra one of each of those? Do stores already know the exact allocation they're getting? If so, I hope someone that actually wants Sheik gets her!

JBHifi may let you preorder Wave 3 instore.

I wasn't thinking! I know that it's been said many times in this thread up to and including people buying two or three of each just so that people here can have them for normal prices. If I happen to find any others before my Gamestop pre-orders come in (have everything but the exclusives reserved), I'll keep the pre-orders.

It's also very likely the preorders you cancelled will still be coming to your store as most allotments have been sorted, so they may just arrive as extras then. Don't go out of your way for me though, just if someone sees one conveniently it's really appreciated!
It's a shame they got rid of the Squirtle and Ivysaur characters just for Charizard. Would have been a cool package, that's for sure.

I finally went through Classic Mode in Smash Bros. with Ganondorf the other night. When his trophy came flying down at the end, it moved to the top of my most wanted amiibo (from Smash Bros.).

Ok... so I went today to Hamburg, Germany. some of you probably know by now that that store has everything.... amiibo section looked like this some hours ago. (pic taken by me with my phone)
.- The first one to tell me which ONE amiibo is not available in the pic receives an internet brofist and high five from me
.- Shitton of Lucarios, Ikes, Bowsers, Toon Links
.- Sheik a bit less and even less Rosalina, which is going for 36.99 euros right now in the German amazon.
.- There are a ton of amiibos here, I had to step back to take the pic but that's the whole area, nothing else to Mario's or Ike's sides.
Thats insane, Nintendo EU clearly has their shit straight. Stores in NA should look like that....NOA smh......

He can post here all he wants. That part I don't care about is the part where he bragged about his "haul" that gets me then later tell us what he did with said "haul". So it's not really censoring just telling him to be aware of others. We try to help each other out. We sell at cost here plus shipping. If he wants to scalp, there's a thread for that.

Interesting I get turned off when I see people looking for a profit on something everyone else here didn't have the opportynity to buy at cost. But to each their own...

I can agree with that, talk about the actual figures themselves seems to get ignored in favour of the 'helping each other' and 'collecting' and 'store stock' stuff quite a bit which is kind of sad.

Phew some context to that post. This I do understand. But from what I notice there seems to be a lull in the fight when collecting amiibos. So talk goes a little nuts some times when we are just waiting around for news.
Which I'm fine with. I like to help and I like to be proactive in this community. Helping is fun (for me lol) and I help where I can.

You do pay in store yes, but you always want to pay it off before release because tons of people do in store pickups and never ever come in to put any money down leading to a cancel, so we don't really take them seriously until someone at least pays a tiny bit towards it.
Wasn't sure how to say it, but I agree with this. Lots of people seem to take personal offense to scalpers, it's a bit much.
I see nothing wrong with helping others out, but I find this to be more of a community thread than one on the figures sometimes. Seeing people give away figures or ask for figures from people doesn't interest me. Neither does using amiibo to pay bills, but this thread is for all comers to this point.
I'm happy for you guys when you get the figures you want, but B/S/T is clutter to my particular interests.
I will try calling tomorrow or Monday, hopefully it works out.
Oh ok cool I can see that doesnt bug me I guess cause I like to help others out. :/ maybe we should make a separate amiibo B/S/T thread...

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with taking advantage of the small supply, especially if you're doing it to pay off debt. If you want to blame someone blame Nintendo for being the ones making the supply that small in the first place.
This is a thread where the vast majority of people are having difficulty finding these items due in no small part to the actions of scalpers. Bragging about and posting pics of your "haul" and posting about much money you hope to make scalping is very insensitive to the people here.
I'll continue to blame the stores should be no more than 2 per household period.
Even if they buy 2 from every store. Thats who I blame...
