You're going to bring a cart to the Amiibo section? While giving one at a time is a great idea and the employees should be doing that anyways, wouldn't the cart slow you down from getting to Rosalina first? I just want your plan to work smoothly and I feel like you need to get to her first for it to. Also because I want to come up with such a plan myself. I don't want to buy all the Rosalina but dang it I don't want to grab one or two and then bam ALL the rest goes to some scalper and everyone else is screwed.

Is there only one Target in Memphis?

There's 13 around here within less than an hour drive. And one store that isn't around a lot of other stores to the point they had a Villager listed online back when you might still be able to find it (they didn't have it by the time I got there 30 mins later). So I think if I were to miss out on the closer Targets, I could drive to the one no one goes to and grab as many Rosies as I want.

I don't think there are too many scalpers either. Especially if there were 6 Bowser at a TRU last Friday, even though they cleaned out Toon Link & Sheik.

5 within 20 miles of here and all in heavy populated areas FULL of scalpers.We have 2 trus I called 10:08 am saturday morning when they put out stock they said they had 16 bowsers 12 toon link 8 shiek and they were all bought by 2 ppl.

Throwing all the Rosalina's in one person's cart does NOT sound like a good idea for anyone, someone may get the wrong impression. :P

Grabbing a few extra to help others on here seems the best way.

I get off work around 6-7 am Sunday and will be heading straight to Target. Then there's another store on my way home. I'll keep you in mind on my Ros search.

No what im saying is if you are first in line with a cart, all the scalper behind you will have to do it walk/run faster than you and he'll get all the Rosalina before you even make it there.

Appreciate it man, but I don't think it'll be a problem.

I've got 3 Targets I can hit very quickly, a 4th one that is my secret place to find all of them and a football game I want both teams to lose that everyone else will be watching later that day.

Unless the scalpers come out in full force for Rosie, I think we'll all be OK as long our alarms actually wake us up...

Well my plan was to grab a few for CisoR list here but I dont trusy my Target employees... None of the Videogame workers seem to have any clue what im talking about... And I know they would sell them all to 1 person if that person is willing to pay... They've done it too many times.

You mean well and it's awesome, but I fear someone may take exception to like, literally a cart full of of Rosalinas. lol. That is of course if there's others there.

I'm already helping someone from CisoR out, so do your best to help a few others without putting yourself in danger. Just looking out is all.

I have a feeling we'll be able to help most on that list as a collective unit here. Would be great.

Lol it is bad here I know one of the scalpers we've ran into each other before and he gave me one simply cause i stared at him all the way to the counter (he bought 8 of the Skyward Sword bundles at a Target I was in.)

Yeah me too. I got a few in mind I suggested awhile back we make them a buddy list as in a person to pair with each one so don't have one person buying like 8 and to help spread out the cost.

true but they may have some outside and if not ill bring a bag lol. Ill just wear a red polo and blend in with the employees they wont know the difference anyway.

Random but anyone know how I can unlock female robin trophy on WiiU?

Wanted to see what an amiibo would look like but bleh, I played all stars and couldn't get her (final smash trophy instead for male robin ugh) and All Stars makes me really mad, I hate that mode. :/

The Mario Party 10 roster annoys me because it seems the Super Mario amiibo line will be (initially) based off of it.

Like, where are characters like Birdo, Koopa Troopa, Dry Bones, Shy Guy, or even Nabbit.

I worked in a future shop in the past (pretty much best buy) and no one gave a crap about anything. It was sad really.

So for people who got their Wave 3 stuff early, do Dedede and Meta Knight look good? The Kirby trinity going to be stylish as hell?

Photos I've seen of Toon Link are kind of disappointing, considering how hard the Nendoroid nailed his cuteness.

Current state of my collection. Should be growing for the upcoming wave 3 figures soon! Only one I'd still like to get it is Villager. Not holding my breath on that though. All US versions, btw.

I really need to find a good way to store these ><
 
Getting into amiibo collection is becoming a huge headache. Getting the LE Majora's Mask was already bad enough. I wish Nintendo knew about supply and demand.

Also looks like my chances of getting Rosalina are incredibly slim with target leaving Canada. What to do...

I'm still waiting for my Meta Knight Amiibo, but My King Dedede Amiibo looks incredibly handsome, as well as having little-to-none paint blemishes or errors.

Pray for a Luigi's Mansion HD collection or LM 3. Considering LM2 obliterated all sales expectations, I'll be really surprised if we never see another game, and it'd be the perfect excuse for Luigi w/ Poltergust, E. Gadd, and Boo amiibo.

Heck, they've already shown off DK & Rosalina's in-game amiibo, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch..
 
God damn I'm watching the official amiibo website and now I have the urge to buy them all! They look super cool. But at this point I think it's impossible trying to get them all... What I'm going to do though is preorder the whole Super Mario Series once it becomes available. I just loooooooove the look and quality of each figure there, especially Mario and his pose.

There is a female Robin trophy in the game, but it's not in the same pose as the male Robin. Here's a small pic of it I just dug up online.

It's not unlocked through all stars (as you stated). It's just a standard trophy. It can only be obtained at random times as a prize from the 1 player modes, in trophy rush, or in the trophy store.

I know I know. I just can't bring myself to do it! I imagine I will at some point, but right now I can't seem to get past the devaluing aspect of it.

But thanks! It's been a lot of fun. I didn't really plan on my collection getting to this point. I originally only wanted the characters I actually play in smash... but that didn't last long.

I've considered doing the same. May have to pay Ikea a visit, though haha. Once I decide on open/unopened I think I'll have a better idea on what to do for a display.

I've never understood why people care about 'devaluing'. Like, aren't you collecting them for yourself? The value only matters if you're planning on selling them.

Not even a little bit of a stretch. I'd go as far to say it's outright guaranteed. Considering we know 9 of the characters will already have amiibo support, there's no way they'd just leave Toadette, Waluigi, and Daisy out. And like you said, we already have artwork for DK and Rosalina. It absolutely will happen.

It's definitely not dead, though the it's just a general Super Mario Bros. series so I think any of the major Mario characters are fair game for this line, not just those that appear in Mario Party 10.

I'd be first in line for Toadette. :)

According to this thread, it sounds like Bowser's minion Spike is a playable character too!

I'm curious if Magikoopa/Kamek might be as well, based on this promo art (top right):

Time to get back to Amiibo hunting. No I ordered Sheik :) should be coming tomorrow. Not sure what happened to Rosalina. I did order her very early on Aros though. Here's hoping she'll come this week.
