But they said it's just for the game lol. Do they have a policy that all Wii U pre-orders must $59.99 regardless of actual MSRP?

From what Newegg says, the $60 price is for the bundle and $50 for regular. So yeah the bundle is no doubt a good deal since $10 Amiibo.
Best Buy probably hasn't updated it yet. They don't charge for pre-orders until shipping so that is why they can make up a price.

This is for the distribution center. There are thirty-seven distribution centers across the United States.

This is most likely a small distribution center or just one shipment. But that's definitely not for a single store.

I am planning to try to hit up Target on the 1st to see if they get any. I will get as many as I can and sell them to you guys at MSRP just to spite the scalpers.

That's both a negative and a positive approach. On one head you are beating the scalpers to the punch and offering it to us gaffers which is great, but at the same time people who come in to their local Target legitimately looking for one will be out of luck as well. I guess either way a person can't win. :/

True, although I doubt my town will get more than 4. So one for me, one for someone I know, and 2 for others. I rather those 2 not go to a scalper. My town will not be getting 20 of any Amiibo except maybe Peach and Mario.

As reference, I only seen Zelda and Luigi at retail.

We were at Target shopping yesterday, and all of the commons were there. Six of most of them (Diddy, Luigi, and Zelda included).

I'm betting Rosalina gets regular restocks. Of the exclusives, I'm assuming she'll be the most common or second-most common (Lucario).

Yep. Doesn't matter how many they send out during the first shipment.
It matters more how long the second shipment comes, if they get one.

Agreed. I outright refuse to buy any Amiibo that's not MSRP or less. I even had a Rosalina preordered from Amazon France until I realized that I didn't want to pay twice what it was being sold for in the US and canceled it.

Maybe I'll regret it after Sunday but I'm not sure I will.

Yep, Little Mac is a unicorn. But with other unicorns (Wii Fit Trainer, Marth) apparently being found in Targets now, perhaps a reprint of Little Mac in the coming months isn't out of the question?

My master plan is to hit Target right when they open on the 1st. I'll also try to grab 1 extra Rosalina if I can for a fellow GAF'er. Hopefully everyone and their mother doesn't have the same idea around here. I was pretty lucky on amiibo/Smash launch day and was able to get a Villager and WFT without trouble. I'm hopeful for a repeat scenario.
