So those two Targets in Northeast Ohio that Brickseek.com said had Wii Fit Trainer in stock? Called them. Neither had any. Great.
Then I hit up three Targets closer to me just to see if they had anything interesting at all. Nothing. [sigh]
The hunt is fun, but it's still a bit disappointing to find nothing.
At least I found a new, sealed copy of The Sky Crawler on DVD at Half Price Books for $4.99, so my travels weren't entirely in vain.

Yep, there we go and replied.
So for those that have opened their Amiibos, do you have them all leveled up to 50? Did you customize them much? or are some of you mainly using them (opened or not) for display purposes?
I have Marth up to 44 and Peach up to 10. The rest haven't been used in Smash (I've redeemed all of the costumes in Mario Kart though).

Mine are opened but only some have been leveled. Save others for rainy days or for when my friends are over. Having amiibos fill in empty slots is pretty fun

I only have two amiibos, Captain Falcon, which I opened. I opened it for display purposes, but I am not really all that interested in the Smash functionality, I used it for novelty's sake and got it to around level 16. (Dat mario kart costume tho)
I bought my second amiibo yesterday (Pit) it still closed, will most likely open it soon.

Thanks. I love the Doom Patrol, and '80s comics in general. And lewd or not, your avatar legit made me laugh into my beer, so there's that.
I customized all four of my amiibo, both with moves and colors. Named them all with handles that reference their history (i.e. Fox is Argo for his dev team, Samus is Bailey for the infamous code, Captain Falcon is Kyaputen for his Japanese name, etc.). All are on level 50, and they helped me grind for items a bit. Also have them scanned into Mario Kart 8, and use them every time I play Hyrule Warriors. I really like using them, which helps justify the collecting.
Seems like that Brickseek site's been inaccurate today, since it told me they had three Villagers in stock.
Honestly outside of buying them and having alarms setup for stock I've been to busy to do anything with them I bought smash bros. Day one bundle haven't touched it yet. I have each amiibo sealed and unsealed havent used them for anything yet. I'll be busy till like May then I'll suddenly have alot of free time...

Right now, I have Bowser, Toon Link and Sheik. I'm still waiting for this weekend to see if I can snatch few more characters. Right now it's hard to tell if I'm going to get those amiibo or not since the release date for entire Wave 3 is so messed up.

Yeah, you just need to ask a mod. I originally was "Zonic505" but I got the numbers removed since I only sign up on a site with them just to make sure the username isn't taken, then remove the numbers if I can.
Plus nobody ever types out the numbers when they refer to me.
Anymod? I'd love to change mine to something more relevant to me.

Mine randomly changed a few months ago, dont know why but I left it.
I name them all and use them to unlock stuff when applicable (MK8) but I don't bother leveling them all up.
I'm buying them all mostly for display.
That little Giratina figure is glorious.The shelves finally came today.

My Marth is alright looking. Mediocre paint job, decent face, and a somewhat straight sword. Could be worse. Glad I only paid retail, though.
AWESOME. Made some money selling some games, might make even more, & sold my Bravely Default LE (excluding the actual game). Now my Majora's Mask 3D LE is basically paid off (I owe $0.76), so it seems very possible I might be able to afford that New XL after all, or at the very least, a few more amiibo & a spare for my giveaway.
Is there anyone planning on getting a spare Shulk or two? I wouldn't mind a backup plan in the case I can't get any at my GS. I'd like one for myself, then another to give to the community.

I did the same thing! I sold a bunch of GBA and GBC games that I also owned on Virtual Console and ended up getting $225 after eBay fees, Paypal fees, and shipping! I still get to play the games when I want AND I get a new Majora's Mask 3DSXL! Just don't have those GameBoy boxes anymore... which, honestly, kind of hurts.

Thanks, Pete, I'm glad you think so. That's what I strove for. I mean, I guess I could sell the soundtracks on eBay and put that money toward importing Mac and Shulk, but I'd rather trade with a fellow fan. Here's hoping.
