What have they done wrong?
Only complaint I have is they dont call you when your preorder comes in. You have to find out via social media. But they still hold your stuff and will call before it goes back to regular stock.

Hence why I don't buy from scalpers. Even the discontinued Infinity figures I bought online (Violet, Francesco, and Randall) didn't cost me more than $18 shipped, which is close to MSRP. Those were honest sellers.
I won't buy from scalpers, period. Not for a price that's more than ten times the product's worth.

You never know. Not everyone there will be buying every amiibo...and NWS gets a lot of stock. That's Nintendo's flagship store.

Grand Rapids area Amiibros, Meijer in Grandville and 28th & Kzoo have Sheik, Bowser and TL. Thought i saw an Ike at Gville too, guy was just stocking them and I grabbed a Sheik

As bad as it is getting and how many people are realizing how easy it is to be a scalper, I'm expecting to quit shortly after wave 4 goes up for preorder...

Aren't quite sure yet. Targets seem to be getting in more than the super rares (hearing reports of 10-20 roaslina per store, as compared to 1-4 Pits/Falons/Shieks). She might be easier to find, but if people keep flipping out over her, could still be pretty rare.

That's just their dates from target.com. Nothing has been confirmed outside of Rosalina, and maybe Toon Link/Bowser/Sheik.

I guess I could check my Meijer in Central Michigan. I don't really care for Sheik (too bad there's no new weapon for him in Hyrule Warriors) & I feel like Bowser & Toon Link won't be too hard to find.
Now if it was Dedede & Mega Man, I'd totally be up for it.

My Meijer was the only place where I saw 2 Cap. Falcons in town (like a week before his official release, I think), though my GS said they got some of both.

No, no, the sales guy hates the Amiibo crap, not the scalpers. He just confirmed that Nintendo is giving them virtually no information. He seemed to think the scalping was pretty deplorable and said his manager is tracking pre-orders and sales like crazy to make sure people don't get out of there buying a ton. When the lady rang up Toon Link it had a warning pop up on screen and the manager had to come enter a code. They seem to be taking it pretty seriously. It is the first place I will look on shelves for sure.

I want to get some of them, especially Shulk and Sheik, but the whole process seems to not be worth my time or effort. So far I've only bought three and I've only bought them by walking right into a store. It's the only way I can keep my sanity.

I'm going casual with my collection and it's still a pain in the ass. Unless all you want is the basic Mario crew and some you're going to run into a snag sooner or later it seems.

Tell me about it. I mostly wanted to complete the FE series but Nintendo sure is making it hard...
Part of me wants to nab a spare Pit if I somehow do come across one at my Meijer (assuming they'd have more than one, let alone actually have it) & then give that away, but I think you guys would be much more interested in a Wave 3 amiibo, especially a more rare one like Shulk, Rosalina, or Ike.
Guess I'll check before college, then once class is done, report my finding. If I do see a spare, I can mention it on here if anyone's interested.

Its easier for Nintendo store cause everyone is buying an amiibo
