Curious if you can say, how quickly does the stock update on the website in relation to new shipments? Is it immediate?

I don't live in the total boondocks, but we're a Midwest town, so it's possible we may not have gotten shipments yet...

I'm just holding onto false hope aren't I?

Yeah something on the opposite end of the country would be nice :p It would never happen, though... Sounds like fun, going to a NWS launch for stuff.

stopped at Gamestop earlier, walked out of there with a Bowser and felt SO COOL cuz I thought it wasn't coming out for a few weeks... check the thread and see all this cooler shit.

when will I be able to snag a Rosalina at Target?

It's essentially real time. I've never done a controlled test, but I saw our website update with Captain Falcon right after we got the shipment that morning.

Probably wise, although I'm curious if anyone will actually wait out there all night. I plan to get there at 5 am, and I'm still worried I'll miss out. People are being really crazy with these damn things. Luckily I live in a smaller town that has two Targets. The smaller one is probably my best bet.
 
Called a few targets to see if they would sell Sheik, but they said that even though there isn't a street date in the computer, the boxes say don't sell. Mileage may vary.

Yeah this is my first time lining up for this sort of thing and I'm a little nervous. There are two big Targets I could hit in Portland, OR.. OR I could go to a smaller one in Vancouver. I'd hate to pick wrong and get a Target that is lined up with scalpers.

What do you think is the earliest to line up to be safe? I only want one of each.

UK gaf - anyone interested in buying Wii Fit and Villager amiibo from me? Managed to pick them up from GAME, but not really a fan of them. Still sealed obviously.

Not sure if this goes against any GAF TOS, but thought that there would be some UK gaffers who really want them!

Going to hit up Target for Rosalina, Gamestop Shulk then bestbuy for Meta knight. If I am able to score at least one of em that will make my day.


Does anyone know what other Amiibo's Target will be selling on 2/1 besides Rosalina?

Gamestop isn't supposed to get Shulk in on the 1st so save yourself the trip.

Target should have Bowser/Toon Link/Sheik along with Rosalina.

The official Email we got that had 2/6 for Bowser & 2/13 for most every one else were just ESTIMATES. We can sell everything the minute we get them in which apparently is anytime any day but Sat/Sun

Friend at Gamestop said Bowser is on it's way to the store and should get it tomorrow. I wonder if I should go ahead and get one...

I'm hoping I can get to Target by 8. I don't get out of work till 730 in the morning, if things go well, otherwise I might not leave till 745. If I'm there before they open I'll get one, line or not (really don't expect a line, though there may be a few people there), scalpers or not, but if I get there at 815, they could very well be all gone :/ and I'll be kind of upset.

Nah, I live in Napa CA (like I said, a pretty small town). I actually kind of hope there are at least a couple others there so I have some Amiibros to talk to, but yeah, I'll for sure be on GAF reporting in.

electronics is in the back of stores. You can line up however you want, but I've seen people sprint to the back when opening for things. You'll just have to hope your 100 yard dash time is better than them or the stores actually limit to one purchase.

I remember camping out for the Wii at the NWS during the shortages. My friend, his father and I got there pretty late relative to the time people started lining up (we got there around 11 PM) and were stuck waaaaaayyy in the back of the line, probably near 150th in place, with quite a lot of people behind us. If you take a look at google street view, we were just past the Rockerfeller Center garage entrance and across the street from Lenny's. Then you'll get an idea how long that line was. We camped out in the cold and played Meteos all night. In the end we all got one that day. Fun stuff.

Unless you live in a heavily populated area, I seriously don't see her selling out that quick : /. Like maybe it's just because I'm in Alabama, but we at least have had the rare ones for a full day before there gone. And that's because we only received 4.

Got denied at Target for a Sheik. Dude said he scanned her and still showed a street date of 2/1. He also said they got more Rosalina than any other new character.
 
got an email from target saying my rosalina shipped, wave 3 officially begins!

i also have meta knight/lucario preordered with ship to home

the rest are pre-ordered at a local gamestop

hopefully things will be less chaotic this wave with pre-orders in.

On top of which I didn't say where either. We have 5 targets 8 within a 50 mile radius. On top of which multiple locations where I have the ability to be within walking proxmity of all 4 exclusive stores... GL.
