I don't think all of the distribution centers have sent them out yet...they should by Friday.

Havent seen that email. I did get the one that he is ready for pickup at the end of the month. being that some already bought him and knowing some stores have them maybe it is just a local issue. keep us posted

I just got an email from TRU stating that my Pit that I ordered back on 12/24 will be arriving between 1/9 and 1/14! That is great news!
Oh wait... that was two weeks ago.
This order also has a Lucario on it, so I was going to cancel the order once I had both Pit (got him a while ago) and Lucario in my hands. Now it's too late to cancel.

It's a bummer about this glut of Peaches. Female action figures are always rare because the conventional wisdom is that females don't sell. But if you collect a line, you want every character, so you'll have to go on eBay to pay a scalper for one. Nintendo did well by stocking Peach adequately, and.....she's not selling. Sucks when something you think is outmoded thinking is actually correct.
I wonder why they are sitting on the stock?
And what happened with Ike? People just assuming it's another Marth? I've walked in and both every other figure with no trouble until now. Seems odd that they suddenly don't have enough. Seems even more odd when Europe is overflowing with these things.

That's a start, right?Eh, I just want Rosie. I wanted six amiibo from the first three waves: Luigi, Peach, Zelda, Link, Rosalina & Luma, and Mega Man. I have four of them and secured a fifth via pre-order. She's the only one I haven't locked down yet.
Once wave 4 goes up, I'll try for three more at least (Lucina, Ness, Pac-Man...all mains of mine in Smash).

I think also when they announced the new Classic line a lot more people said they were going to get that one instead, if they did pick Peach up, but still, there's a lot of Peach about...
I think the Peach amiibo looks fine, the only thing that's off is that there's not enough pigment on her iconic puffy lips, which is why she looks kinda funny.

Just a heads up regarding Lucario in the DC/MD area:
I have pre-orders for myself and gaffers at two different locations and now have two different situations:
Toys R Us in Gaithersburg, MD - Just got emails claiming they delayed my order and that batch won't be arriving on Friday (30th).
Toys R Us in Frederick, MD - I got e-mails yesterday saying my Lucarios WILL be available on Friday the 30th. So I will head over to grab them (hopefully).
I am concerned about not being allowed to pick up all of my pre-orders despite having cards for each one. I heard stories about not being allowed to buy more than 1 or 2 of your pre-orders.

I'd call the ones who say he won't be ready. I just got an email from mine but I know they got Lucario in last week. The manager pulled them all aside for preorders, so they should still be there...

You all keeping your amiibo sealed or opening them up? I don't see myself selling them but I have some rare ones still sealed. Wondering if I should open and display them.
Bought two of each so far. One for each purpose.
They did not. At least not for sale. The manager-looking guy said they'd be there next week, so I'd keep an eye on their twitter page starting this Sunday.
I keep looking over Mega Man from the latest photos and damn does he look good.
Display them. You might lose like 10% of the value, but the reason why old toys are more valuable sealed is because the boxes were cheap and eroded easily, and an unopened toy like a GI Joe meant it wasn't beat up by some 9 year old kid. This doesn't really apply to non-articulated figures like Amiibos.
Allow EU and Canada to enter, but ask that they pay for shipping. Those guys may have a tougher time getting Rosalina than Americans, it sounds like.
Opening them. Packaging takes up too much room, and besides, I want to actually use them in games, which you can't do while they're packaged.
I'm gonna open all of mine when/if I get them.

EBGames has their shit together unlike everyone else. I'll be getting my 2 Shulk amiibos as soon as I can. Though, the fact there will be no Ike available for walk-in means I either have to get lucky at Toys R Us or I have to be lucky enough that my Amazon order go through.
Ive done a bit of both so far. Opened my Yoshi because he had fallen over inside the box. And I opened my spare Fox and Captain Falcon. Everything else is still in box.

That seller also has Meta Knight for $14.99 and Ike for $16.99. Shipping is $2.00. I was looking at the Ike one earlier. They are Japan-region, but I open mine, so don't really care. Very tempting if I didn't already have them all on pre-order.
CORRECTION: Shipping is $2.00 on Ike. For some reason, it's $5.00 on Meta Knight and Lucario. So, actually, Ike is $1.00 cheaper!

Looks like I better go pay off Ike and the rest. I put down everything on my Shulks the day preorders opened because I'm not missing out on him.
It's eBay, so as long as you get what you're buying that's not something you have to worry about.
I've bought some stuff from JP before where I've wondered the same thing, but again, if you get your item, nothing to sweat about

Guys, what do you think of Play-Asia for amiibo? I want to buy just Sonic and Megaman there since I'm pretty sure they would not come to Mexico. I have never used that website so yeah. Any advice would be much appreciated cause I want to have my nice set of iconic gaming character gang with Mario, Pac-Man, Megaman and Sanic.

I just appeased a scalper and purchased the Wii Fit Trainer on eBay for $30 shipped. I figured she isn't going to get any cheaper and it is the U.S. version. I haven't heard of a reprint like Marth so I just bit the bullet and grabbed her before the prices get worse.
Yeah, that's what I figured, especially seeing the list of CanadaGAF members making a list. I figured only $8 for Rosalina would be considered a great deal to them, just so it can cover shipping & help me out with my budget. I just wanted to let people know so there wasn't any surprises or anything.
C.i.S.o.R people, are you fine with that? I have a feeling everyone on that list would jump on my possible Rosalina giveaway. I still need to hear some feedback/interest if I'm to give away an amiibo (possibly Rosalina, hopefully).

I've imported two from them so far, they are great to deal with. Good packaging and quick, fairly inexpensive.
I'm down for that. Assuming Rosalina is done for here, I can do shipping for that much.
