Our Nintendo Amiibo stock arrived late yesterday from Nintendo only for them to inform us they were short-shipped some of the figures and it this stage they are unable to confirm when more will become available to us
They advised that some of these figures are very limited so they had to be allocated equally amongst all NZ/AU retailers which means we have missed out on a few.
We have let Nintendo know our concerns with this very very late notification (actually we did not any get advanced warning) and that now we have to let our customers down which is not good
We are trying to source more but this may take some time. If you are happy to wait we will leave the product on your account for the time being.
If not, please let us know if there is something else you would like or if you would like to have this item cancelled.
Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience we hope we can be of better service to you in the future.

Pretty much. I can live without Marth and I want to get Ike, but there's no way I'm missing out on Robin and Lucina.
Just back from Target AU. Can't believe it, but I have all of wave 3. Managed to finish the collection with Ike, Shulk, King Dedede, and Sheik from Target.
Super lucky, I'm definitely preordering next time, been flying around since 7.30am and it's a zoo out there.

I'd assume they would have taken them down if they had no stock but you never know.
At this point I'm guessing it's just the ones they didn't put back up they're having issues with, so Shulk, Ike and Mega Man.

So I had an afternoon for myself and I missed Toad, sweet. I knew he was going to be the one hard to find, ha! Oh well, we still have the other retailers to order from.
So I was all morning waiting at a target for sheik to come in stock. She did eventually, around noon, buuuut the clerk just refused to sell it to me. I even asked for the manager, and nop, no sheik for me, even if the system lets it go through they told me the street date is supposed to be Feb 1. I´m not upset, I already got 2 coming from walmart, but I fear that order gets cancelled.
They say they have 4, but the system just shows 3. They told me they are going to sell them first thing in the morning sunday. I also made a friend, that was nice. Also they got 26 rosalinas, one of those better be mine or I´ll have to choke a pikachu.

(Since I made up a transparent version of the sparkle things, if I see avatar requests pop up, I might be able to help take the load off you here and there -- you're cranking 'em out awesomely).
Don´t worry, I´m most of the time here 24/7 so I know I can get one from other retailer or even at launch and if preorders open again I´ll be there. I appreciate the offer but I think someone else can make more use of it x).

Yup. Although they didn't really cancel the joke--usual Japan April Fools pranks go away the next day--but it definitely felt like they did.

Meta Knight and Shulk are specially grim because they are exclusives that where up for preorder for a loooong time and they both belong to retailers famous to under supplying their exclusives.
