KInda like amiibos. They sometimes comeback, but most of the time they are gone forever. Example is the Link Figma that recently got a reprint and its widely available, while the Pit Figma is impossible to find for close to retail.

Last question. Where to get one that ships to the US! Because once my pay checks hit! Blam! I'm getting her! And might just play fire emblem again because of that too. Forth play through here I come!
I preorder Zelda two weeks ago, in my country there's a considerable delay between waves, but at least amiibos last in stock little more than US =PShe's one of my favorites. I think she looks really quite good.

I love the details on her dress and she looks great. Only holding off as she's quite common so I'll pick her up one of these days.

Hmm, I think amazon and playasia carries them, but not sure if they still have it. If you are not able to find one I can get one for you, I ordered 2 for my store and I have one available. Its a little bit more pricey since they charge me mexican importation fees (Damn you government!)

Once you get it, you will fall in love with it and you will want more! They're amazing. You may not want another one right away, but always keep your eye out for new releases!

lol I'm already a figure collector, but I've mainly kept to Gundams, Iron Mans (hot toys >.>), and a couple of bishoujos. Oh and also some nendos *cough*
I usually don't go for figmas because I really hate the joints being obvious but this Lucina is great at hiding them.
Guys. I just found someone on Craig's List willing to trade me their Little Mac for my Club Nintendo Majora's Mask soundtrack. I feel like this right now:
Even though the MM soundtrack has a bit more monetary value on the collector's market (or eBay, at least) the dude is a big Zelda fan, so I feel like it's a nice trade that works for both us. Moral of the story is, check Craig's List if you're looking for that one rare amiibo you really want -- if you can wade through the scalpers, you might be able to work out a deal that's good for everybody.

That doesn't seem very fair to me...the MM soundtrack was a platinum prize this is just some 12 dollar toy that was everywhere

Just grabbed bowser from the local gamestop (i dont think he'll be rare, but i'd hate to be wrong) i've got to track down sonic and megaman this month somehow, and also grab a pre-order for ness, wario, and pac-man.

Normally, I'd agree, but this $12 toy is no longer available anywhere, and vanished in less than a week or so. I'd like to think Nintendo'd be rational about this and restock some Amiibos that became rare, but if the generic Mario series sold out online in a couple of hours, I feel these artificial shortages are just going to get worse.
Seriously, they're being disgusting about this. That Mac Amiibo really shouldn't be anything more than a $12 figurine, but Nintendo seems hellbent on making each and every last Amiibo into a modern-day Honus Wagner card.

it's done! preorder is in. Got my first figma woooot!!!!It is a shame that Nintendo's mishandling of amiibo, especially stateside, has falsely inflated the value of what should be a $12 toy. It's true that I could make this trade, and then in a few weeks' or months' time Nintendo gets more Little Macs in stores, while they will of course never again produce the Club Nintendo edition of the Majora's Mask soundtrack. So you could say that's unfair.
But setting aside the collector's market silliness, here's the way I see it: I got the soundtrack, left it sealed, and stored it away. Don't use it and haven't seen it in a year. However, I put my little amiibo collection right on my work desk and I use them for games. I enjoy collecting them, which is rare for a minimalist like me. So at the end of the day, I want Little Mac more than I want the soundtrack, and this guy wants the soundtrack more than he wants Little Mac. Works for me.
I've given up hope of getting a Shulk Amiibo. I looked on Amazon and a Japanese retailer had Wii Fit Trainer up for $25 and I bought that instead. I really, really, REALLY hate scalpers so I'm not going to pay the $35-40 they're asking for Shulk's online. I can only vote with my wallet, regardless of how much I want the toy.

Seriously can't believe how fast he went. I take a couple hours to get some sleep and next thing I know I get a text saying Toad is up. Got my preorder in and half an hour later he is gone.
I hope Nintendo made a good amount of him. Aside from Mario's artificial scarcity, Toad is definitely going to be the most popular one with those who already have Smash versions of the other characters.
