I think Laurel should just tell Lance already about Sarah.

You can't keep lying. :(
I don't know the comic story so I might be messing with the lore but:

It's a perfect time to do it. "Sarah" is back. Just have her disappear, tell Lance she died, change the color of her wig, and have new canary meet Lance with a different voice then Sarah or Laurel. Pretty simple lie to fix. Makes Chest Hair want to go after Brick even worse.

Heh, it was as I said it would be. Oliver STRAIGHT UP survived the stab, fall, and who knows how much time on the snow . But one thing bugged me as hell at the very start of the episode:

WTF happened? Mistake by CW.... or just a perfect opportunity for Wozly to tell us WHAT REALLY HAPPENED between Oliver and Katana while sad Maseo was pacing outside of that hut in the snow. :D :D :D
Gotta show off those pecs.

laurel trolling her poor father with this sara thing is ridiculous. this show's insistence on keeping secrets to hilarious lengths doesn't work.

This is the one thing I hate about her character now. This is such a horrible thing to do.

My heart broke when he asked her to come closer, why is she keeping her distance and all she could do was be stand offish. These writers have to stop this nonsense. Thea should've been informed about Oliver already even if they lie about the circumstances.

Damn good episode.

Laurel amateurishness was pretty damn apparent this episode. Still, she tried her best, so props for that. Loved her using her heel to take down the goon. I like that improvisation. (can I also just say that's she looking better of late, very happy to see she's no longer as gaunt as she was during season 2. Do we know what happened or will it forever remain one of life's great mysteries?)

Also seems strange that Laurel isn't using the sonic device. What gives?

Roy has really come into his own the last couple of episodes. I really hope this triggers a decision by Roy to split from Ollie or become more dominant when Ollie does return. I want to see him go out on his own though. He's ready.

So...DJ guy.Of course he's league affiliated.

So Ollie's had extensive dealings with China White and yet he doesn't acknowledge that history at all when they meet in season 1. This is the problem with your flashbacks last longer than they really should..retcons. Retcons everywhere...

Man, they are really going to drag out Sara's death eh? Just tell chest-hair already, it's starting to feel pretty damn shitty to keep letting him think she's still alive. That phone call was fucked up. I'm stunned.

Come on, straight up ripping off Dark Knight Rises? I mean, the concept does lend itself better to a TV show as they can dedicate more time seeing how the Glades will change under Brick, but still, straight up ripping off TDKR is weak.

Oh my god. Bullet proof trays up in this bitch. They don't give a fuck any more...

Laurel is a horrible human being. She lies, deceives and manipulates others to achieve her own selfish goals, and really doesn't give a shit about the way other people feel. It's always been about Laurel, and always will be. She emotionally bullied Wild Cat into training her. Now she's lowered Team Arrow to her level by making them complicit in the twisted psychodrama she's playing out with her father. She's truly reprehensible.

I think Ollie hasn't asked how he was revived because he already knows. Either he died already in flashbacks and was brought back using the Alpha/Omega serum, or witnessed it.

I hope they don't kill off Detective Lance to resolve this whole Laurel=Sara fake drama. Would be an easy way to fix an unnecessary problem but I really like Lance.

At this point, I think China White's role in whatever happens to Maseo's family is going to diminish. I'll bet Waller is ultimately the one responsible for whatever tragedy befalls them, which is why Maseo leaves ARGUS and joins the League of Assassins.

the editing or something feels off tbh; a lot of the time, it seems like they're cutting away to new scenes too fast

I noticed that too, one noticeable one is where Brick is talking to Palmer like face to face then it cuts and he's stood near the Mayor about 5ft away. Brick is.. The Flash!

They used the herbs just to heal. What saved Oliver was supposedly the cold, which makes me think they're hiding something frm him.
You mean people are hiding things form other people? In Arrow? Naaaaaaaaaaaah
Oliver Queen: By league law, I have the right to challenge you to a trail by combat.

Ra's al Ghul: It's been 67 years since a man challenged me. You covet death that much?

Because the *Giant Pit Of Gloop* Makes more sense then *Magic Herbs*, its a already established thing in the universe, Plus how do Explain Ra's Quote ? The Pit would make sense, but now hopefully they explain why he doesn't look so old given what he said or have a huge plot hole. Not like a giant healing pit would be so out there in this World now that Barry Zips around solving Crimes with Oliver.
I never said that the Lazarus Pits didn't exist nor did I say they were stupid. What I'm saying is that it makes no sense to complain about it being herbs over a pit of goo, and that neither one is any more or less probable than the other. Maybe Ra's stays alive via herbs? Maybe there's an herb called 'Lazarus'? Who knows. Especially since none of that has been explicitly explained or revealed yet.

I guess that answers that question.

Don't worry though. It sold so poorly, we'll probably never see another game done with that many real actors for a long time.

Which is a crying shame. One of the best strategy campaigns of previous decade and the very best marketing campaign in gaming's history.

Moving the wound from the chest to the belly and having Oliver bounce back that quickly from that kind of fall is dumb.

There are certain moments in this show that I just can't help but shake my head at.

Also: No Lazarus pit is lame.

Holy shit finally watched the episode, and this was by far the best one this season. So many sad, happy, and funny moments, it was fantastic.

Laurel finally putting in work, even though most of her stuff is gifable LOL

On the Sara thing: I'm of two mind on the whole thing. On the one hand, I can't say it doesn't make sense. We know Laurel's reasoning: she's concerned about her dad's health. The Lances aren't exactly known for being able to take bad news well - both Laurel and Chesthair fell into alcoholism last time they dealt with grief - and now there's his heart to worry about too. She's trying to protect him given that the news could literally kill him, and I'm sure there's an understandable selfishness in not wanting to risk losing someone else she loves so soon after Sara.

On the other hand, the longer they drag this out, the more it seems cruel. With so many people now in on Sara's death (including people outside Team Arrow; hell, even Team Flash knows), not telling Lance becomes harder and harder to justify and it becomes harder and harder to sympathize with Laurel. The stunts they had to pull to keep it up this episode, and the fact that no one seems to be pushing for her to tell him makes the whole cast look bad.

The writers literally said "you don't just resolve a thing like your main character dying in one episode, it will be a mystery teased throughout the season" after the episode before last night's so I'm gonna assume there's some shit gonna go down with the way Ollie is alive.

Yeah I don't know why everyone is taking Maseo and Tatsu's explanation at face value. There's clearly more going on.

Just realized we're probably going to get a Thea vs. DJ fight. I hope she's wearing the right pants.
I'm sure she'll put something together...

Thea as Cheshire? I know it's been brought up in the past, not sure how I'd feel about it to be honest. She doesn't have that cold streak Cheshire does, at least not yet.

Man, now I feel like watching Batman.

I think you may be onto something, but Ollie not acknowledging C.W back in season 1, when she clearly featured somewhat heavily in his life during the five years he was away sticks out like a sore thumb.

Continuity is everything in a show like this...

It'd be funny if they introduce Clayface, Nemesis, or some other master of disguise just to keep this farce going.

Malcolm will throw her off the Verdant balcony. She will glide down and strike down the DJ while he lays down some sick beats(tm Taylor Swift).
Oh god, now I want to see them do a Fast Ball Special.

No, not really. She doesn't know who The Arrow (or The Hood back then) is, so bringing it up would have only given away that he's Oliver Queen.

She's got a blank space, baby...and she'll write his name.

Now it's been a while since season 1, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't acknowledge her to anyone. There's no mention that he knows her from his past to Dig or Felicity.

It just sticks out. The show has generally been good with keeping continuity, seems like a strange oversight.

He talks about playlists and hard drives with his files on them.. so not by the Disc Jockey or a Turntablist definitions.

Also, I'm now going to assume that any new characters are in The League until they're revealed not to be.
We could also do the traitor game and make multiple established characters secret League members. So many possible ridiculous twists.
