Did Play-Asia get rid of cheap unregistered shipping? The cheapest I can select is US$ 6.90 .

Yeah I noticed that. I ended up buying stuff from Nippon Yassan instead. I mean shipping isn't much cheaper from them, but at least their items are better priced.

That's what I noticed as well. P-A even raised prices by about 10% on items I was watching a few weeks ago and I'll save about 10€ buying from Nippon Yasan instead.

The official nintendo uk store is doing a n3DS + charger + MM3d+ Skull kid figure for £190, in either black or white.
Black: http://store.nintendo.co.uk/new-nin...ajoras-mask-3d-standard-edition/11070031.html
White:http://store.nintendo.co.uk/new-nin...ajoras-mask-3d-standard-edition/11070033.html

Or with the limited edition of MM3d for £195

I'm sure you could pawn off the Skull kid figure for >£15 if that makes the difference to you.

And just to get it out there, I'd buy it from you for £15+ shipping if you didn't want it in a heartbeat, haha.

Lol, I didn't want the statue and thought £190 was too much. But if I can offset the cost by selling the statue that sounds like a good option. Thanks, think I'll do that. should I get the standard game, or the special edition? Again, don't want the steel book packaging, pin badge or poster, but I could probably get more than a fiver for those, right?

Edit: fuck it, bought the special edition bundle - they threw in a charger which is nice,m although I already have a couple

Edit2: nintendo website shows dispatch date as 13th few with 2-5 days delivery. Have others preordered direct before? How are nintendo with getting stuff delivered on release day?

Sorry to be a pain in the ass have we 100% figured the best place to get a new 3DS XL? I have a standard 3DS as is but would like the new one. At the moment it looks like France is the best shot, right? Importing to the UK that is.

Amazon France is £135 inc 1-2 day shipping. £125 if you choose the slower 3-4 day option. Still the cheapest but if you have any issues you'll need to return it to France and deal with French CS - doable but worth considering especially if you are only saving £15

Ordered plenty of times and they've never been late for me. They were late by one day for Mario Kart 8 which I ordered elsewhere, but they made up for that by giving everyone a free digital code for the game on launch day to go with their physical copies. You should be fine regardless of what the site says, if I remember correctly the same has happened to me before.

New 3DS is £131.74 delivered in UK via Rakuten/Shopto, if you use the code JANSALEDAY5-7 at checkout (XL is £161.49)
http://www.rakuten.co.uk/shop/shopto/product/3DSHW105/

code can also be used to get other things, e.g. MH4U for £28, Xbone £250.95 etc

ok this is tempting.

edit: Where do I enter the code? If I preorder on shopto it just goes straight to my account. If I try and pay with card, it doesn't seem to have anywhere before the 'pay now 'button

you have to register with Rakuten & buy through them, page will look like below

Anyone have experience of trade ins with Amazon? I want to get rid of Fable Anniversary in 'as new condition' but on the box/insert it mentions dlc which I've used. Will it still be considered 'as new'.

Why don't you order it on amazon.fr for 155EUR (which is 115pounds atm) + postage. Of course no courier, but it's still cheaper.

because it is £125 inc postage for 3-4 day delivery, or £135 for 1-2 day delivery. So ordering from rakuten is a little cheaper than amazon.fr assuming you would have gone for the faster delivery. Plus dealing with a UK based company so returns should be easier if needed.

Although Amazon is usually super easy to deal with, no questions asked.

Cheers for the tips. :) Just checked CEX (always forget about them) & they're offering the same as Amazon who are offering an extra fiver for a promotion. GAME's prices are a lot lower.

I'll check out Nippon Yasan too, then. Having only two options, partially tracked mail (~5€) and express delivery (~40€) is stupid. Delivery times are insane too (I'm still waiting for my KH 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX OST to arrive).
Unless I can't find something elsewhere than Play-Asia, or they are really much much cheaper, I'm done with them.

I always use CEX price match at GAME for my trade in's. Tend to do pretty well usually.

How does that work? Game will match any price CEX offer? Can I just show them the website, or do I need some kind of evidence from CEX? I'm thinking of trading Shadow of Mordor in, and I'd much rather have that credit with Game if I can.

Just show them the page on your phone. Games trade in prices are atrocious normally.

You can go in with your phone but most of the time they will go in the back of the store and check them again anyway.

anyone willing to give me the skull kid figure for 20pounds+shipping...?
i already ordered majoras mask LE, n3ds for 200euros@amazon france.

how much does nintendo uk take for shipping to germany?

and btw. guys, if you buy from amazon(france, uk, germany, NL) most of the time you can send it back to their dispatching place in your home country.

i bought a ps3 controller back then at amazon.co.uk the packaging was damaged and they told me that i can send it to the german amazon logistics.

GAME will beat the CEX trade in price by £1 if you just go in with your phone and show them the price from the website.

I've done this a few times and there are restrictions - my local Game and CEX were close enough but if there is not a CEX within X miles (5?) then they will refuse it - what I did was print out the trade in page from CEX and take that along and hand it over with the games I was trading in - the people behind the counter then had to scan the item / check CEX's page live (they did it on their phones) and then manually add the difference.

At the time I was trading in a lot of old Xbox 360 stuff so having an extra £1 a disk really made a big difference

Yeah, the CEX has to be within five miles of your local GAME. I always add all the games I want to trade to the sell basket on CEX's site, print it off and show it to the guys at GAME. They're usually fine with it.

I guess I won't be buying much there anymore. Nippon Yasan seems like a solid alternative.

Well, I used them to import US games too, so...

Now it's just VGP. But looking at the conversion rates at the moment, there's not lot of money to be saved anyway.

VGP is still quite cheap, since the CAD isn't doing much better than the Euro. But importing from anywhere else has really become a lot more unattractive.
