Got a Lucario from the TRU in Oxford Valley this morning. At first I didn't see him in the amiibo isle but then I noticed an extra amiibo display. Only had three Lucario left. I also grabbed a Ironman Hulkbuster figure. It's not nearly as nice as the hot toys version but it's decent for $34. Weren't going to sell it to me at first because it's street dated the 2nd but they overrode it for me. :)

More along the lines of 45/50 with free shipping. This is neither here nor there I'm asking for help and helping with someone that needs one I have. I have already helped guys out locally that missed stuff with extras I have. Only looking to get them into the hands of people that are getting hosed by scalpers.

Good god, you lucked hahaha. The person behind me at EB this morning had them all pre-ordered but all she got was the one Shiek the store had, Toon Link, and Bowser.
I'm in Kingston so we aren't huge but we are a fair size. The store manager told me that this was what all EB's got in the province although he is a bit sleezy so I'm not surprised to hear you got the rest.
 
Santa Cruz, CA TRU: 6 folks in line. 3 Lucario. No other wave 2 or 3 Amiibo. Store employee was wishy-washy about the possibility of future shipments.

I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, sorry if it came across that way. I am looking at one now that is at $57 with 20 minutes to go still.

Yea, I'm with you. I also have every US Smash Amiibo (as long as the Wave 3 pre-orders come through). Hopefully everything is fine but I can't help but get nervous. When Wave 2 was released and Best Buy hadn't shipped I was nervous also but it ended up working out fine. Hopefully the same will happen, but having to order in so many different places it seems to increase the chances that something could go wrong.
 
Called my local Toys R Us. They said they might get the new shipment at around 3-4 later today. Hoping they have a few Ike's that aren't pre-ordered.

It's cool neither was I. The amount of stress and bs involved with this is just out of control. Glad my Rosalina was shipped from Target and is due in Tuesday. Screw these retailer exclusives
 
Not looking forward to the Wall of Shame on the next OT I know I'm prolly way up there now... afraid to look.

I hope NoA also realized how stupid the retailer exclusive ones are. I have Rosie coming from Amazon.fr... still no sign of her and she was supposed to arrive yesterday. I plan to still go line up at Target on Sunday morning and hope for the best.

I'm in NW Ontario with a 100 000 population town. Crazy we got the same as larger palaces.

I was the first to preorder all of them. So unless they got 0 I was fine.
 
TRU only had 4 at my location in Syracuse, but i was there super early and managed to snag one. Sadly, they had already stocked and sold Toon Link before that, so its my only Wave 3 figure thus far.

Was the Shulk a pick-up-at-store preorder? I'm pretty sure the pick-up orders can't be changed online, but ship-to-home orders have to option of changing the payment/shipping. If the Shulk was a ship-to-home, then I can't really say anything else other than to give CS a call.

Good luck. I might go get one Sunday so I have an extra for my daughter but not even sure I wanna deal with people. Hope your package arrives safe!

A BIG thanks to Gaf. This was at the San Mateo store. It was the only preorder, and I only got it because someone mentioned going in with the DCPI number and preordering in store. Yup, that worked!


Story time though:

There were about 10 people who came at various points, and the TRU employees kept saying they only had one for preorder, the rest of the Lucario were delayed to 2/13 with Ike, Dedede, etc.

About 5 minutes before opening an older guy came and was lurking around, and then ran into the store before the rest of us. He was clearly a scalper, and went to electronics asking for the "limited amiibo, I don't know which one that is."

The manager came out and asked me (I was first in line) who was second, kicked the line jumper out, and pulled out a second hidden Lucario for the second person in line.

What a day. But at least stores seem to be getting smarter.

Whew! Was able to get a Lucario this morning. The line was about 24 people long and the way they handled it once they opened the store was abysmal. No tickets, everyone was on the honor system and did really well except for one cantankerous old lady that cut about 14 people in line. She got one and others walked away unhappy.

Thanks! I doubt Target will be the same experience but my waiting in line at TRU was super awesome. I ran into 2 people I knew who were regulars at the store I worked at, and everyone else there was also nice and liked to discuss Amiibo/nintendo stuff.

It's totally weird. I have three preorders active, all three to ship and only the MM let's me change anything but the shipping method. All three are paid for using different methods though so maybe that's why. I'm going to call them a bit later to sort things out.

Gurrey, I hate to let you down, but as of now I'm more inclined with superNESjoe's offer to be honest. If he doesn't get back to me I'll definitely hold on to Lucario for you. I'd say give your local TrUs a call if you have the time to pick one up soon, but they probably won't hold be able to one for you. Every one I've called though was in the know about the situation and had no problem checking stock for me.

I take it the toon link was yours, right? Im looking for him as well.
