I don't think this is a fucked -up at all. Just a regular game announcement/teaser that people (again for the Nth time) had unrealistic expectations for. The game looks like it could be fun if you like playing with friends and if you like digging games.\

Stop blaming the company for your unrealistic expectations.

SE teasers have never been for anything large or anything that caters to western fans.

Chrono Trigger will turn 20 years old this year (March)... they'll hype something up and reveal a new F2P mobile card game.

After FF7 fiasco, I am not trusting any teases ever again.

Yeah, they gotta earn our hype by successfuly "wowing" us at LEAST 3 times in a row before we can begin to even allow for the possibility of something not being a disappointment or a letdown.

Square-Enix probably realized that no one believes in them anymore when it comes to announcements, and they needed to fill the audience somehow.

Therefore, they're probably hosting a J-Pop male band performance after the stream [unaired], hence the overabundance of females in the audience.
