Somebody tell that Seattle fan who was taping the game that he should probably cut himself off from all communication for the next month.

Now that they've won it they'll be found guilty of deflategate and nothing will happen and no one will care.

NFL....

Naa, the Kraft's planted stooge Goodell will sweet it under the rug like a good little lackey just like we know he did last time.

F'n wow at that final play call.

... what?

This isn't hindsight it's common sense.

Ball is on the 2 with time left. You bleed the clock and run it with the best RB in the game3 right now. GAME OVER. You don't pass and risk that outcome. Lynch absolutely NEVER fumbles, he was on fire that drive. Pats might've let them score even...

Yep, a handoff essentially has three outcomes loss, gain, fumble, a pass has five loss, gain, int, incomplete with the added 'bonus' of stopping the clock if it's incomplete make it 4 potential negatives for a pass to 2 for a run.

You run Lynch on 3rd down, and if you don't get in then depending on the spot you could throw it on 4th.

This was a magnificent sporting event.

Patriots deserved to win but rarely do you see such a bitter ending to any game. How could they make such a bad call, just give it to Lynch....GIVE THE BALL TO LYNCH!

Will definitely start watching American Football more often now.

5/5 + 1 for Katy Perry.

Fucking 1/2 yard away on a first down with a RB that has been consistently running <than 1 yard on all running plays all night.

Then you pass the ball.

That's the problem with the Hawks' "miracles". Some sloppy shit they do ends up working out against all odds, so they go batshit insane and do stupid shit like that pass thinking it's gonna work out anyway.

As a Giants fan happy the Pats won. Brady and Belichick had to get another SB win after their last 2 disappointments. Amazing as Kearse's catch was, glad that the Pats victory keeps it from being held in the same status as Tyree/Eli and Manningham plays. This SB made me cherish the 2 recent Giants wins that much more. What an ending.

Breaking News: Greg Roman seen sprinting away from the Seahawks sideline after interception with a Seattle headset on. Sources say he was laughing hysterically as he ran from the scene.

Per Rotoworld:
On what should have been the game-winning drive, OC Darrell Bevell shockingly called a pass play at the goal line with :30 left. Wilson was intercepted by Patriots CB Malcolm Butler. It ended a magical game, one that will go down as one of the best in Super Bowl history.
Unfortunately, the Seahawks didn't give Lynch the ball enough. They had possession near the Patriots' goal line with :30 left in the game. OC Darrell Bevell called a pass play, and Russell Wilson was intercepted. Lynch would likely have been Super Bowl MVP had Bevell called a run.
Bevell hates Lynch confirmed.

Seahawks handed the win with a ridiculous miracle catch and then they do that. How the fuck don't they give Lynch the ball in that situation? So much stupidity... I'm speechless.

Damn a grear game, but at the same time as a Seahakws, how rhe hell did Bevell call a pass throw in rhe middle with 40-50 sexonds left and pretty much the Super Bowl secured. I'm sure Sherman, Lynch and Wilson are scratching there heads going how the hell they gave the Super Bowl to NE. If I were Bevell, I'd hop on that plane to Atlanta and just stay there. He's going to be vilified in the Seattle media and the goat of the Super Bowl with that play call. It was a good game and there had to a winner. Hopefully Wilson makes another run in the years to come. His career is just starting.

Who ever made the prediction about the lions losing in heartbreaking fashion, then the cowboys losing in heartbreaking fashion, then the packers losing in heartbreaking fashion, so the hawks would lose in heartbreaking fashion... Kudos to you my friend.

WTF did I just watch? This was the football equivalent of the ending of
The Departed.

We are currently living in the darkest timeline.

Godspeed GAF.

Terrible end game coaching. NE should have let Lynch score first play. 2 timeouts and a minute for Brady.

Bailed out by the worst play call in NFL history.
