I was surprised Max didn't instantly notice Chloe's dad is the security guard. She saw a bunch of pictures of him at the house but it's like she didn't put 2 and 2 together 
Took quite a while for her to find out, I was like "it's him!!!" every time she looked at a picture and wondered if it her dad was a cop or so

Me too. When I opened the cabinet door in the garage and saw the map with potential camera locations, I was like oh shit.

What do you guys think about the Vortex Club? It's really weird, kinda like a cult. I think that the word vortex has to mean something, since it's similar in shape to a tornado plus the time/space thing.
And to carry over what I was saying in the last thread, I bet one of the other characters has been drugged and assaulted by Nathan before. There's no way the thing with Chloe was a first.

I'm guessing her powers are linked to the Native Americans that is briefly mentioned by the teacher.
My jaw hit the floor when I saw the dogtags in the bedroom drawer that said 'David Madsen.' And she didn't even say anything, hahaha!

Genuine. If not she's the best actress in the game then.
Sadly, the game still kinda treats Max's dialogue like she's still a bitch despite the better vibe you get from consoling her.

I think she was being genuine. IMO she is one of those characters who will change a lot through the story, from a jerk to someone more likable.

I know there were some posted in the OT (that were marked with a spoiler tag and warned about, but on my mobile device the spoiler tag wasn't working) but luckily I realized what it was before I really read it. Point being, don't go on the Steam Community Hub or anything until...well until the series is over, pretty much.
I think she was being genuine. I mean she has no reason to be rude to Max. She is just ignorant to others because she has money, power, etc.. whatever. I think now she will let up on Max a bit, but Kate may fall into the crosshairs more.

I'd like to keep Victoria as an ally for now. So I didn't make fun of her either.
I was surprised to see you could find a pregnancy test at the recap of the first episode. Only 2% of players found it. I didn't see it at Dana's place.
Also, are those implications about Kate legit... you know... the porn videos? Did I miss something? Seems like the other girls have seen a porn video with her in it. I found a few clues implying this.

I think a lot more people found it, but if you're like myself you can rewind and get her to tell you about it without *technically* finding it. The rewind mechanic adds a lot of interesting things like that.
I think more people found it, but what you can do is rewind after you find it and get another dialogue option with Dana.
OceanicAir thought it could have been Nathan's work, like what he did with Chloe. That would be terrible. </3

Given how Kate was acting, the amount of other characters taking the piss and her not wanting to talk to Max about it I think it's legit.
I wonder why Chloe's stepdad is so obsessed with Kate though, something just isn't right there and maybe it's something to do with the video but I hope not.
Also he's the one wanting much stricter security around Blackwell isn't he? Makes me think something happened to Rachel on campus that he knows about.
Also here's my Catcher in the Rye thing I said in the OT:

Anyway, she and Holden are both sort of, let's say "Everyday Heroes" in their own little world, Max helps people with her time control and Holden is "The Catcher in the Rye"

I was gonna say, the moment I saw the David Madsen tags I was like... "wait... what?" I actually didn't understand the context since she didn't comment on them :l
Yeah, I noticed the Holden reference right away. Caulfield is pretty much synonymous with Salinger's character. My HS English teacher used to refer to me as Holden :l
Some pretty cool theories posted in the other thread. I don't spend a whole lot of time mulling over these sorts of things, but the Rachel = time manipulator theory currently makes the most amount of sense.

speaking about the tornado, she saw the date of the paper as oct 11, right? but was it 10/13/2013 ? did she saw the year? she didn't mentioned it, did the paper showed it? cause if not we may not even be looking a near event

I would never describe Holden Caulfield that way. He's subverted by his own story and often harms more than helps. You could argue they're going that way with Max, but Holden is generally selfish, more wanting to be seen as the protector of children than actually doing so.
Yeah I spotted that.
I wonder if that storm actually is in the past somehow? Though I guess that storm can't actually happen in the past as the lighthouse is still standing, not to mention she would know about it.
Never found out about the pregnancy test or ability to rearrange photos till the stats at the end (will be amazed if all those ripples can actually pay off but was cool to see so many things being tracked), but I also don't wanna jump back in and muddy up my play through.

That's definitely fair, my theory is just kind of about their own little worlds. Peoples perception of Max hasn't really changed besides some since she got her power. Or, the connection is more like yours where Max is actually hurting the greater good by manipulating time somehow.
