Don't forget that the weapon pickup and melee attack button prompts are basically QTE.

and the parts before the QTE's happen are just context sensitive so this game is basically a big linear corridor script which plays itself at times.

I think I'm doing it right.

Man i can't until the 20th.

I think I will pre-order this.

i found the the order's models more complex, their vests are incredible detailed, Nathan not so much, at least for gameplay video released, but we'll see...

I personally think U4 looks as good as the Order, and that Drake's model is more impressive than any of the Order characters. For instance, this is the real time model:

Whether this will have the best graphics EVAR (or to date), I guess remains to be seen. I know people will have some strong debates over this vs. Uncharted 4 etc. But regardless, game looks fuckin amazing. If we are already getting games this good looking this early on. Just imagine what a company like ND could do 3-4 years down the line with the PS4.

yeah in that shot the character is really good, but in the psx video gameplay sadly Nathan, at least for me, when is controlled is not so special, his character look like a standard video game character, maybe is the distance from the camera, i don't know. The order characters, instead, are always beautiful, with so much detailed clothes and so much cg feeling to them. But we'll see in the final game, for now Nathan in game don't impress me too much.

Camera viewpoint is much closer on the player controlled character The Order; that also makes a big difference

yeah i suppose that this is a factor, but i want to see for myself when i will play uncharted 4. We'll see in the final product, there's time.

I think that is probably it.

How is the image of drake above realtime, when nvidia were using I think GeForce Titan to render that face demo they had about a year ago. I'm not doubting that it's not realtime, but the GeForce is a lot more powerful than what we've got in the ps4.

In closer inspection there's no way that's the level of detail we'll be getting in UC4.Maybe that's high res render for promotion. I expect it to look similar, like in the release trailer.

When's the Blu Ray release, lol?

I think I'm never going to run in this game, just walk through it, and let my eyes have orgasm every second or so.

Drake will look that good in close ups that is what LOD is for.
Also that is in game pic if i remember right.
Already have the order pre order for gfx alone.

PSN profile of someone who has the game now has the gap from the first obtained trophy till the last game completion trophy at 4 and half hours. No trophy for any side stuff.

Realistically, that pegs the game at around 5 hours minimum.

Damn that's pretty dang short, probably went through on Easy not really picking up any collectibles. Either way I know my playtime won't be like that, I'm starting on hard difficulty and taking my time savoring everything. Want to find a good amount of the collectibles as well.

I did that with Ryse, will be doing the same with The Order. Oh and... screenshots.

4 hours and half? Damn... Thats short, or this guy really rushed his playthrough.

wasnt impressed when i played it at gamescom, but i am still excited for the final game. i just hope it runs at a rock-solid 30 fps with no tearing. there seems to be some stutter in the gameplay videos.

The most recent videos we've had for this have shown enough for me to pre-order the game. I guess my biggest worry is that its all an entire A to B route experience. I hope the entire game is not like that, it would be amazing if you had little spaces in which you could do detective work, areas to split up the chase and shooting scenes. I hope the developers get the pacing just right and we haven't seen half of the game in small video clips.

Expecting a similar experience to BioShock Infinite. A beautifully realised alternate world, woven with interesting historical fiction, wrapped around a dissapointingly average core shooting mechanic.

Likely to play for the atmosphere, but remain disappointed that devs cannot marry their intricate world building to an interaction beyond point and shoot.

That's just a brute force demo with face that supposedly has 2 million tessellated polygons or smth like that. Nobody will use something like that in video games for a while.

For RAD to go from producing hand-held and wii ports (although Okami was special) to something this beautiful is testament to the talent the studio has. I'm sure this game will firmly cement them amongst the most sort after developers. It bodes well for other studios such as Sony Bend who will also be gracing the PS4 with their new project soon.

As far as game length is concerned I'm not too fussed about the 10 hour campaign. My first play-through of TLOU took me 25+ hours and that is classed as a 15 hour game. Recently it took me 3 hours to do the first episode of Life Is Strange so it's all relative.

Kind of confused how they managed to not get any side trophies if they truly did finish the game. Many of them seem VERY easy to get, and I would assume a number would be achieved just making your way through the game

~5hr playtime the first time through is disappointingly short even if he rushed through it. i hope the game paces itself well and the narrative unfolds in a natural way.

I'll happily pay £50 for the visuals alone, As i'll be walking slowly panning the camera around as much as i can to take it all in.

Gameplay is just a bonus.

taking rendered ingame model looking far better works for the order
