Trailer has me hyped!

Getting the PS4 version for some wonderful remote play action on my Vita.

The platforming element looks interesting and it's nice to have some actual dungeon design. The Catherine engine looks like a great fit for this game.

Day 1 easily.

I bet the BDSM jail dungeon will be great.

Looks like Evil Rose from Rumble Roses series, heh.

Someone remind me why Atlus can't release it in Europe via Sony's help. Its kinda obvious that sony would support them in releasing it here as a publisher so why won't they?

So I saw that enemies in battle are actually good old SMT demons.

If this potentially somehow leads to us recruiting demons to become Personas, my hype has gone from 1000 to 1,000,000

It's not the Catherine engine.

OMG! Just saw the new trailer! ALL OVER MY BODY and INTO MY PS4!! HYYYYYYYPE!!! AHHHH!!! So glorious and beautiful and so glad to have it on the PS4. All that style!

I hope we get a world wide release.

The style is completely fresh, which is nice. It still keeps the Persona feeling (complete with amazing menus), but it feels like something new at the same time. The idea of the vigilante main characters who aren't always just doing things for good is a nice one, and I'm definitely excited for a game where the main cast are struggling against the grain and trying to fight back against society. It feels like the perfect evolution for the Persona series.

I love that the dungeons look to be more involved and seem hand crafted now. I'm hoping they can really step up the game with the dungeons. I'm not expecting something on par with Strange Journey, but I'd like some well crafted dungeons with a lot to do in them.

The return of demons as in battle enemies is amazing. I really hope that negotiation returns. I love the system of being able to talk to your enemies and possibly recruit them to your side. Since the game involves struggling against the system, I think the idea of recruiting demons who are your enemies (and making them your new personae) would fit in quite well with the themes of the game.

Umm, what are you talking about? Why would they even need Sony's help, when they have Sega?

Since there seems to be a ton of people who aren't aware of this info, here's a re-post.

Thanks !

Oh man how crazy would a simultaneous US/JP release be !! .. i know it doesn't happen often, but there is JRPG president for it .. Tales of Vespedia did it I think.

Well, now they can do it because they have Sega support, but back before the acquisition Atlus didn't have operations in Europe (I think?). So releases in EU were troublesome for Atlus.

Amazing trailer. I know this is a small thing to point out but the menus are so stylish. Love it when developers pay attention to their UI like that. Makes me happy c:

Since it's apparently not clear to people, allow me to elucidate:

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it isn't as overwhelmingly positive as yours. You may not, however, attempt to drive people away just for having a dissenting opinion. This is not an echo chamber. Knock it off.

Looks pretty great. Style never was the problem with Persona series for sure. Unfortunately I didn't see anything in the trailer that would convince me that they got the gameplay right this time around either. In any case I'll definitely buy it when it comes to PC.

Demons as enemies, more interactive dungeons (hopefully the stealth isn't annoying), and more dynamic class sections all look good. Wish we got to see just a little more dungeon crawling stuff but the presentation and art style more than made up for it.

I'm a really big fan of the vigilante/thief thing going on. It's a great way to spice things up.

Got a hardcore JSRF vibe for a while there. The fucking menus though -- someone finally has Square-Enix beat on that! (OK fine...P4 and PQ beat them too...)

I need this game.

You're more than welcome to respectfully engage. Ask for clarification. You may not tell them to "get the fuck out" and insult in other ways.
