If you have a PS2 or PS3, you can play it.
Not in Europe
Edit: for the ps3 version.

They want to be free, but then hide behind masks. Hehe.
He won't have to. It doesn't even look like we'll get enough Main Characters to have that option in the first place.Phenomenal trailer, just perfect. The cat will never leave my party.

It might just be the 4 main characters we've seen so far that make up the entire party for the game.
This would make sense since they're are basically a group of bandits, and traveling in large groups would be detrimental.
So are they tackling superhero/vigilantism?
Waaaah this looks amazing! It seems a lot more carefree and crazy than earlier titles, which is interesting.
Was that man in the striped shirt the boy from P3?

Ohh yeah I remember now, didn't end well for the others. It was a pretty good acquisition from Sega's side...Atlus didn't acquire Sega. Sega acquired Atlus when Atlus's parent company got wrecked for some illegal shady shit.
Geez, 22 pages already? GAF really loves this game.
Guess I'm jumping in too, though I know nothing of the story
I imagine that's the dichotomy of the game right there. Picaresque influences and all that.
Persona games generally don't have direct connections with one another beyond cameos. So you wouldn't be missing much starting with Persona 5.
There's at least one more character judging by that fox person. I hope there are more though. Is it safe to assume the music is the opening theme without the vocals?
Good to know. Random enemy encounters though? I am down for some fun turn based combat, and good storytelling, though the setting sounds weird.
Altus delivered beyond my expectations.
Yar, the previous Persona titles didn't show all party members during the first reveal, so I don't think they'd do that in this case, also.He won't have to. It doesn't even look like we'll get enough Main Characters to have that option in the first place.

You saw those knights in the trailer? Those are the encounters. You see the enemy on the field and have to engage with it to start combat. So no random encounters. Personally I find the setting of the series rather refreshing. You don't see many rpgs set in the present day.
Anyone notice that those anime cut-ins are actually part of the game? here you can see it underneath the ui:

I kinda wish it was a college story. Maybe someday. That being said college life in Japan isn't considered to be very interesting.
Wait...
I just noticed, and maybe this has already been pointed out..

This guy, isn't that just the main character? He has the same eye color, and hair style just minus the glasses. Maybe this is some form of shadow self?
what a disappointing looking game. I am baffled at atlus for producing this throughout all of the time they have had. back to waiting for witcher 3 I suppose
To the people who complain about demons as enemies, maybe they are not "real" demons. I actually find exciting if they are shadow who have gained some personality and this identity matches the traits of the demons. If they can laugh about us in battle this is gonna be so fucking great.
