I actually wouldn't mind milking provided they don't just go straight-up repeating what they did for P4. It's been said jokingly, but a kart game, or maybe something weird like a cooking game, those might be fun spin-offs.
I'm sure we will get a fighting game though.

Can't wait for the rerelease with addition content. Persona 3 -->persona 3 fes--->persona 3 portable. Persona 4--->persona 4 golden--persona 4 arena-->persona 4 arena 2-->persona dance all night or whatever it's called and persona Q. I will still buy all of them

Super Mara Kart would be awesome, some Musou game could also work. I'd be fine with almost anything if Atlus found the appropriate studios for them. P4A wouldn't nearly be as good if they didn't get Arc System Works for it. If they used SEGA connections to find good developers for whatever genre they want to do but still do art, story etc. themselves I'm sure it'll be fine.
Hey, European Gaf user here. I'm planning to get a PS4 for P5 (and Bloodborne as well) and am willing to import the NA version once it's released, but I'm afraid Atlus will pull some region locking bullshit like it did with Arena. What are the chances of this happening, and if they're high, should I order a US PS4 online instead?

You should wait until they announce at least the NA release dates. Since SEGA bought them they've been quite good with timely release of Persona games in the EU, just look at how fast Ultimax came out compared to regular Arena. Persona Q as well.
The most recent bad example would be SMT IV, but that was going on long before SEGA took over and I thought Nintendo was partially responsible for that (?)

I am really happy to see Persona 5 getting the hype it deserves. It is hard to believe that the trailer is now close to a million views on YouTube in the past 24 hours.
I love both games equally but it was just weird to see people comparing Persona 5 with FF XV, while infact everyone knows FF XV is just absolutely massive.

I think the rivalry is dumb too but you can't compare something with 5 more months of exposure.

If each party member will correspond to 7 deadly sins, I hope Morgana the cat is Slut, at least that'd potentially lead to funny scenario rather than having one of the human party member male or female to act as the slutty character stereotype.

P4A was region locked as a one off thing due to the US and JP release being really close. I don't see that happening with Persona 5 and hence there's no need to worry about region locking/

In terms of the 7 deadly sins? Probably not.
I doubt it, not in a traditional sense anyway. Maybe something like the support system in Persona 4 The Golden.
There is probably going to be DLC though.

If they are indeed going to follow a pattern where original releases are relatively light on fanservice, but the spin-offs and re-releases (e.g. P4G) double down on it to appeal to that profitable segment of fans, then I think that's an excellent compromise.
Trailer has me so hyped. Those environments - the underground mall, the busy stations, the dungeons, look like they'll be so fun to walk around. Menus to die for. In battle animations look like a big step up from P4 too. Can't wait.
