Everyone loved it so much they kept asking for more. Giant Bomb doesn't want to be just the Persona ER guys, they have other things they want to do.
People wouldn't leave it alone. Constantly asking about Persona related things or asking when the next ER would be despite Jeff saying that it was hard for them to do something like that for so long and to stick to a constant schedule. Years of it just took it's toll.
yeah, from what little of that prodding reaches the giant bomb audience, i can tell people really are being kind of annoying about it.

Man has it been itching me for so long.

Why has Atlus been leaving the Persona 3 main character's fate so open. Like you would think if they had wanted to be done with it they would have finished it during Persona Arena or even earlier, but no. Instead they keep on leaving hints after hints. Now the question is when will they ever solve it, I mean we have Elizabeth on a quest for the MC.

Have you played Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax? The answer is obviously this.
Edit: Oh sorry, glossed over the Arena mention. But yeah, if that plot point is ever continued moving forward, I bet it'll be relegated to spin-offs, and never really "finished."

I'm debating on not watching the nexnext few trailers because they will most likely reveal the next set of characters and I kinda wanna go into the game clean. But on the other hand, these trailers are too hype..

I'm kinda more worried about music spoilers, if that makes any sense. In most of the Meguro composed games there's always that special moment when you're hearing an awesome song for the first time at exactly the right moment and just think to yourself "This is goddamn amazing!"

Well, the movies aren't done yet, there's still 3 to go. Maybe they'll tie up his story there?
If by justice you mean the end goal people are wishing for, I don't think this will ever happen.
This absolutely not happen. The movies retell the story from Persona 3 straight, and they'll end with The Answer. Tying up his story through the movies—for whatever reason—would require going from P3 > P4 > P4A > P4AU > ???.

Holy crap this is amazing. The eyes thing pretty much confirms the seven deadly sins tie-in.
Also having Lust be the cat is a good way to avoid the typical portrayal of the sin... assuming that she doesn't change into a sexy woman at some point.

Actually, I suspect the other human character we see jumping from the billboard at the beginning might be the cat, lol. The definiing character elements between that figure and the cat, the mask and belt, match. The cat is supposed to be Morgana, a feminine name and the figure looks like it has a feminine figure too.

Aside from the belt, mask, and tail. Structurally, it doesn't make sense to introduce another character for a one off in this trailer. They'd save that for a reveal. Additionally, that char jumps off a billboard and the cat gets thrown into one at the end. Since there are 4 members revealed in the trailer, it makes sense for that char to be the cat. It might not be connected but I think that's a good visual connection for the viewer to associate the two chars.
Heh, I think the point of people that want the resolutions is that (P3 spoilers)
the P3MC actually isn't resting. His soul is perpetually suffering 'cause he's serving as the gate that's preventing humanity from destroying itself.

Oh no, what you said makes sense, especially the bit about chucking in a new character for only a few seconds but the thing nagging me is why would they give the cat a human representation in that one bit when throughout the rest of the PV she's portrayed as a cat with her phantom form (I just made that up right now) being a cat as well.

Teddy/Kuma situation. They'll eventually get a human form. Assuming the cat represents lust, then that makes sense because they could have a intense desire to become human for some reason. The cat's eyes are light blue in masked form (and in normal cat mode too, i think) which is color associated with lust. There's also a particular close up of Luxuria persona with the cat in mascot mode before zooming out to reveal the other aspects.
It's a little bit more speculative that the cat is lust though.

I was going to buy it day one anyway
I was planning on buying a ps4 just for this game
Now I'm definitely going to do that. If it releases in Japan first I'll import it and play the game in Japanese.
and this trailer is the last *anything* i will look at for the game. No websites, no magazines, no anything. Just this trailer.
This trailer cemented 100% for me that I need this game in my veins, and I'm going to keep everything else a surprise except its release date.

I'm actually not so sure the cat is lust. In the shadow world the cat's eyes are red as well(perhaps the cat has a close relation to the protagonist?), and Anne also has blue eyes outside of that world as well as the cat as your friend mentions. The cat was also associated with all the deadly sins as well as some other sins/demons in the trailer.
Bu-but your tag is so fitting here!

Maybe. But the cat is also the mascot so there might be a little bit of that mixed in there with the "X persona" part of the trailer, lol.

The ending is one of the main reasons why I liked 3 more than 4. It's still one of the few things that almost makes me tear up. ....
It also kinda loses it's meaning if it's just "ignored" in order to have a cameo in other games. The story of P3 MC didn't really leave any loose ends and then you have Answer part tying it up even tighter. I'm not a fan of him appearing in the spinoffs, you can have the others but you kinda ruin the whole point of the ending of P3 by magically having him there. Is he in the Arena games? I know he is in PQ.
