The feature includes the results of a poll to find the most requested character for Street Fighter V. The winner scored 2,978 votes (just 38 more than the runner up) and over 70,000 people voted.

Tried to buy it, but seems it's only available in UK, at least in Amazoon and Nook. Is there any other way to get it from Spain? I don't have iOS devices. Do you know any other details of the article? What are the top characters in the poll?

Oh yes, yes you do. Magazines will try to put a verdict on ANYTHING if they can't publish a score due to NDAs. That's nothing out of the ordinary.

Kind of their bad if you ask me. I still agree that the word verdict definitely is not the correct language. Previews aren't about judging games merits, but reviews are. Obviously you can't judge a game on an excerpt, and more pertintently in the current games writing climate, you sure as shit wouldn't say anything negative in a preview, otherwise you might not get the chance to preview a game from them again.

Anyway, can't believe I wrote a paragraph , on why 'verdict' wasn't a good term to use. But, it wasn't.

The magazine is advertised in the oficial Street Fighter Facebook page, so who knows, they may have some new details. I'm dying to know if there is something new there and the poll results.

Capcom didn't do a poll (yet?), the one they linked on their Facebook page was this one, but it wasn't run by them. It's all Play Magazine's doing in this case.

Great list. Maybe excluding Violent Ken, I'd put Guile or Abel instead.

As I remember SFIV+revisions sold around 8M copies combined (we should add 1.7M more if we include SFxT too). Considering that the series sold 36M LTD (number seems to include SFxT according to the logo), I'd say Street Fighter is in a very good shape, even if obviously these sales now are a way smaller market share than in SNES days.

As of today, these numbers are far from FIFA, COD, AC or GTA but is way better than the 99% of the multiplatform games, or even most exclusive games. But SFIV sold mainly on PS3, so it mainly would secure existing PS3 players who are SF fans for PS4 more than to 'steal' millions of players from other platforms.
