Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the point of charger cradles exactly? I just use the adpater and plug the cable into the system/GamePad etc. Why do we need a bit of plastic to place them in, too?

You don't, it's like "vertical console stands" and loads of other such shit that people make solely to fool people into handing over their cash.

I just got another £5 for no reason for shopping on Rakuten :lol

If they're just going to keep giving me money, they'll definitely keep my business. I should have waited, I could have got a Pro Controller for less than it would have cost at Nippon-Yasan!

It's probably mostly for aesthetic reasons and for convenience perhaps (i.e. just drop your console in the cradle in stead of having to plug the cord into it which requires a bit more effort).

It's a minor improvement in ease of use/quality of life as you don't have to plug the cable into the 3ds each time.

My new 3DS XL is going to be joining the pile on top of my other 3DSs, and PS Vita.

Is there any reason to get it in case you already own the Wii version?
Extra worlds? Bonus content?

The 3d is cool, GFX are fantastic and I enjoyed the extra world, which while not amazing is still good and does NLG proud, on par with RETRO's stuff. 30fps with dips takes its toll tho, DK is much heavier and "laggy" to control but still superb, mind you. Non-waggle controls are a welcome addition if your Wii wasn't softmodded to play with the ocarina code to enable the classic controller.

There's also an easy mode.

I got one with my Ambassador's New 3DS and honestly it seems to barely work as the pins only line up with the induction charging points when the 3DS is in a very specific position. Maybe I got a duff one though.

If you're a student living in a dorm, maybe. I don't want cables flapping around, much more aesthetically pleasing and quick to have only the cradle visible where I can just drop and pick up my gamepad/3ds without messing with cables. Plus it's not good for the life of the input connector to constantly hook it up and take it off. 5€ for all that is w very good trade off.
Lol the comparison with vertical stands. But even then, I've never bought a vertical stand but what if someone wanted to put a console (which isn't like an OG 360 where one isn't needed) vertical?
They're a fool or dumb because they end up buying something they need?

You're always so freakin' judgmental and what is even more annoying it that in the process you say so much clueless dumb shit

I've been umming and ahhing over getting this with my coins on the Club Nintendo site. Is it worth getting if I've just bought Tropical Freeze, or is it just more of the same?

Only if you own Lone Survivor or Thomas or The Swapper.
I don't like Thomas and already own the others on ps+ :(

It seems 10EUR is the actual regular sale price for Stealth Inc 2. You get an additional 10% off (35% in total) in case you bought any of those other games.

Ps.
Today I've DL a file of yours from gamefaqs (mp trilogy save), thanks!

You're welcome. Took me ages to finally beat Metroid Prime 3 again on Hypermode difficulty. Last bosses are hell.

Does anybody have any experience pre-ordering hardware on GAME's website? I have ordered the New Nintendo 3DS that comes out on the 13th. It qualified for free business delivery, so I am assuming it will be posted out on Wednesday or Thursday ready for release on Friday?

They use DPD for hardware, so it should be with you day after dispatch.

Damn, is it?! Uhmmm

I mean Returns' a fantastic game, imo the best 2d platformer of last gen easily and some even prefer it to TF, but yeah it's also more of the same. But it deserves to be in any collection and even more to be played, just not back to back with TF, needs to be a few months apart to be fully enjoyed I'd guess.

OMG! Thanks for posting this.
Since I only have a Mac, I went to the AppStore to look for it thinking it would of course not be released on this system. But to my surprise it is on there, and for the same price as well! :D
Never played Leo before, so it's so worth it for that alone.
But I love Ninja Spirit, Tonma, Image Fight, Undercover Cops and In The Hunt so that's an incredible package!

Sorry, on my phone so I can't verify this but apparently there's a code for ten quid off a forty quid spend at Rakuten, so you might be able to get a Wii U pro controller for thirty notes if you add a trinket to your basket to take it above the threshold. You get five pounds free for signing up, too, but probably after your order goes through.

Just heard about this and am about to try it now. Code is FEBGIFT10

Still waiting on that £5 sign up from these guys though, and I signed up a few weeks ago.

Thanks. I might go for The Order at that price. I was thinking of going to Tesco, Asda on release day but it will probably be £45+

Yeah, most likely. I thought Amazon would have dropped its price by now, but nope, still £49. Ridiculous.

Yup, there's no chance now. They didn't even lower it last year when I pre-ordered Arkham Knight for £37 and a few other PS4 games for under £40. Same for Bloodborne. Best bet is a random code like this one.

At this point, you're almost better off waiting a couple of weeks for the inevitable post release price drops, if full price is too steep. It's a high profile first party title, so it won't be under shipped, and thus a prime candidate for the regular deals on sites like Zavvi.

Yeah, me too. "Five days" my arsehole. Really quite annoyed about that, as I was going to stack a couple of vouchers to get The Order for under £40.

Anyone outside of Germany, please be aware the packaging will likely have that ugly USK rating symbol.

If you buy the limited edition, it will have that ugly USK rating logo, no matter from what country you buy it from. ;)

(I don't see why anyone from outside of Germany would buy it, though, since amazon.fr is cheaper.)

Where's the best place to buy a PS3?

Game was selling a 120GB slim pre-owned for £119, wondering if there's some good deals online

And why would anyone from inside Germany buy it at Amazon.de?
They will get it for less money too, probably will have to wait one more day :-D

If you're buying used I can recommend GAME just because they'll swap in store. If you buy online and get a dodgy unit you're going to have to mail it back etc.

everyone in europe should address this to nintendo. they are earning shit tons of money, why not releasing a special edition for each country?

ni no kuni had a limited edition for every country even though it was a translated slip-over-thingy.

There wouldn't be need for country specific versions in case they simply used reversible covers.

They already did so once for the Zelda Wind Waker HD LE.

I contacted them about that matter, I guess more and more people should do so. It's really a shame.
