Am I the only one who thinks Lucario is kind of a boring Amiibo? Also on every one I've seen the head is looking too far to his left when compared to the artwork. Probably my least favorite Amiibo so far.

I sometimes forget how small they are, that's one cute looking amiibo <3I was looking at some pictures on Reddit and someone heated up Megaman's arm and straightened it out. Pretty neat.

I'm actually not a fan of his either. He's one of the few whom I never use in Smash.

He is my least favorite too.
Yeah, that's why I'm skipping him (and all of the Pokémon for that matter, except maybe Charizard). I'm trying to stick with who I know that I'll like.

A part of it might be my bitterness about him replacing Mewtwo in Brawl, but even still, he's not a character I find myself using too often either.
Funny cause I called a local Best Buy and some girl told me the same thing.... December. Ok.

Yeah I noticed that too. I don't think it really means anything, but I suppose there is nothing to stop Nintendo from widely releasing these later on. I wouldn't count on it though.

That was the one I was looking at. It has 4 sections which would make it impossible to fit in my basement. Glad I'm not going crazy. I knew when I checked on it originally it was a no go. Got really confused when you posted yours.
I have every amiibo available so far (in the US) and Lucario is the first one that I dont like.

Yeah, I'm very thrilled about the news but I don't get it when people started to complaining about release dates being delay for other movies. I don't get it since they have been clamoring for Spider Man to be a part of MCU, and they got it.
Anyway, I'm curious about how they would do with Black Panther and Infinity War since I thought that they were planning to make Black Panther movie as tie into Infinity War but I might be wrong.

I don't understand what it meant by at launch? They already launched Amiibo Wave 3 last Friday.
It can be read as its exclusive at launch, but not exclusive later on. Its a timed exclusive.
Meta Knight hasn't launched yet in the US. He launches at Best Buy next week, 2/20.

Mega Man is currently my #1 most wanted amiibo, so as a fellow fan, I really hope you get a chance to get one yourself. Supposedly, he won't be super hard to find, but I'd take that very lightly, as the Nintendo World Store sold out of him with the quickness.
You can feel safe in importing, imo. I got the Trinity from Amazon.de without a hitch, so I'm sure your Wario will be just fine. Pit's gonna be tough to get; I just traded a Rosalina here for one. Feel free to get extras and trade for ones you want. This community is awesome, so you can rest assured the trade will be just fine.
Mario and Link will be easy, so I'd recommend those for lower priority. Keep in mind, Toys R Us is doing 2 for $20, so that could really help you, especially with the common ones.

WHAT I didn't even know this was happening, I always wanted this to happen, my oldest brother should be very happy to hear it too.
It means that they might be timed exclusive. In the future you may start seeing them at other retail stores.

So excited to see Spider-Man finally enter the MCU, it's about time. This is "amazing" news! These movies have been fantastic so far, and I'm sure getting him into that universe will go without a hitch. Really looking forward to Civil War now. Iron Spider get!
Also, "at launch" is probably a qualifier to enable them to be able to sell at other retailers past an initial wave of shipments, which could explain why Rosalina seems to be cut off at Target. This is a mainline Mario character, so they can't possibly end the line this fast, upcoming Super Mario-line variant or not.

I now have all of Wave 3 (NA packaging, all sealed, all in perfect condition both the box and the build/paint quality) except for Meta Knight. I had to get a replacement for King Dedede who was not in good shape with black marks all over him (the one directly on the front of his hat was very distracting), ditto Toon Link who had black marks on his face.
I got Shulk from a trade with a great Gafer here, which is en route and should be here Thursday or Friday.
Just need that damn Meta Knight shipping confirmation from Future Shop! Come on!!!

Sheik just got delivered from Amazon after a small delay, and Shulk should be arriving this weekend from Gamestop.
All I have left to collect from Wave 3 is Ike, King Dedede, Mega Man, Sonic (all of which I have preordered at Gamestop) and Meta Knight (from Best Buy).

I'm in the exact same situation. I did in store pick up for all these characters and paid them off, but I'm still waiting to hear something from them. I assume Shulk will be available Friday, but I just don't know about the other ones. I never received any kind of delay notice, so I'm hoping I'll end up with more than just Shulk at the end of the week.
If it means anything my store had a purchase order for a few Meta Knights to be delivered today. They're coming soon.

Lady at Charleston SC TRU just showed me 2 boxes of Mega Man, one of Sonic, and told me Dedede will be in today or tomorrow from FEDEX. she wouldn't sell. It had orange 2/13 stickers on them. I tried showing her others getting them but she was tough ha
Ok this is the last I'll say anything about Spidey and than back to amiibo (sorry he's my favorite superhero). But I hope they go more with the 90's Spider-Man cartoon approach. An older version of Spidey who has been in the superhero business for a while. 90's Spidey is still the voice I hear in my head when I read Spidey's lines in the comics.

Not Amiibo related but I know the pain of being hard street dated, few years ago when the new Indiana Jones movie was coming out there were lego sets to go with it but they were street dated. Walmart had them on display and I tried to buy one but no dice.

I was thinking of adding an additional cabinet on top of mine but it's too tall even for my room. It's a shame because it's just a couple cm too tall.

Y'know, my brother and I are probably in the massive minority here, but we really liked Amazing Spider-Man 2, as well as the first one, despite all the bad word of mouth it got. So if I liked that one as much as I did, an official entry into MCU canon will definitely blow me away! Like CH4OS said, I hope they take the 90's Spidey approach as well. I prefer the older, scientifically inclined but not a straight up loser nerd Peter Parker we saw back then over the whiney nonsense we got from Tobey McGuire. I think that's one of the reasons I liked Andrew Garfield in the role, because he was closer to that than we had seen, more confident and energetic, and his rapport with Gwen Stacy was fantastic and believable.The news is very exciting but I gotta to keep my expectation low for that so I would enjoy it even more!
Ah well, here's to the future!
Yeeeah, preordering these things online (or, in my case, Web In Store order) is not the way to go anymore, I've realized this now, particularly due to my Ike getting delayed. In store, full pay from now on. That's it!
