There is a rumor of a new SE Humble Bundle coming soon, so take that into account if you want to buy anything from the sale. That said, the price for Murdered is pretty nice.

I received Spirit Camera yesterday from base.com.

It's shrink-wrapped, but not the typical Nintendo shrink-wrap.

Called Nintendo yesterday, strangely they told me that there may be games published by Nintendo, that are not wrapped using the Nintendo shrink-wrap. Offered me the service to open the game for me. I would have to send it there of course.

I opened it a few days ago. No Club Nintendo code to be found (which was actually the 2nd time, the other shrink-wrapped but non-Nintendo-shrink-wrapped Spirit Camera from coolshop also didn't have one).

Contacted Nintendo. Just received a reply.

They didn't send me a replacement code, but instead just credited 250 stars to my Club Nintendo account. Horray!

EDIT: and it seems something is fucked up on Nintendo's mailing list managment. I received the Majora's Mask promotional e-mail 3 times in total. One time from Nintendo Switzerland (in German). 2 times from Nintendo UK (in English).

Looks like amazon.fr is pushing new 3DS hard right now. Majora's Mask is down to 34€. That's crazy for new Nintendo games.

Same for MH4U

Also, the steelbook special edition for MM is available on amazon.de again right now

Again, no, it is not.
The great majority of portable Nintendo games is usually priced at 35€ in France.
Then again, games tend not to get cheaper overtime.

What did you tell them? You think I can contact them about my AT/CH copy to get a code, too?

But your was Nintendo-shrink-wrapped? And it was still missing the Club Nintendo code?
Just contact them. Tell them that you bought it and that it was shrink-wrapped and the code was missing. You have to attach a photo of the invoice + the game itself.

Normally they deny to do anything in case of Nintendo published titles (because normally there is no way that the code is missing), but it seems they can make exceptions. I registered a total of around 25 games within the last 2 to 3 months, so I guess they trusted me because of that.

did any of the shops already ship 3ds, mm or mh4?

iam so hyped, i cant sleep.

amazon.fr says, it will arrive on saturday :(
I ordered my n3DS from Amazon FR last night. I got an e-mail today to let me know it's already on its way. Too bad I have no PAL carts for it. Still, I'll try the Region Three hack and see if it works.

Do they want a photo of the backside, too (so they can see the EAN and Nintendo Product ID)?

Spirit Camera is a 2012 game and since this is an AT/CH copy, Club Nintendo didn't exist there until 2013 (
shoutouts to North American complainers^^
). So it's technically not "missing" ...I just got fucked by the seller who sold it as a "UK copy" which would have come with a CN code.

Ah right. I see. Your photo shows Spirit Camera with PEGI age rating, but the German subtitle. Interesting, I had no idea that they released such a version.

I didn't send them a photo of the backside, just a photo of the case opened and all the stuff that was in there and another photo of the invoice. In your case it could help to also make a photo of the front and/or backside. The Nintendo website only allows 2 attachments, so it's a bit problematic (and it also got limited to 1MB each). You could use an image software to splice 2 photos together. You could send an email directly to info -AT- nintendo.ch / info -AT- nintendo.at too, although I'm not sure if it works out - I never did this, I only replied to Nintendo emails

Definitely do mention that it was shrink-wrapped and that it's a CH/AT PEGI copy. You could also send that photo as well as additional proof.

Nintendo Switzerland definitely specifies Spirit Camera as a way of earning stars, so say that too. Should get through.

Nintendo Austria does so as well:

I know that feel, bro :(

Mine has shipped and I've had an email a few hours ago confirming, but the orders page still says "Précommandé". However if I click on "Suivre votre colis" then I can track the delivery.

Are you sure you haven't had a dispatch email? Or do you have the "Suivre votre colis" yellow button?

Nope, no buttons or emails. It just says that it hasn't been sent yet, in French.

Thanks, I just emailed them with a scan of the amazon marketplace order printout (lol) and a picture of the case contents on display. Wish me luck :)

I'm always sad when I can't register a game on CN. Should've done it when I got a SCN copy of Yoshi's New Island (from TGC) that (naturally) came without codes last year.

I was looking around and wondering about that since everything on amazon.fr seems to be cheaper. I'm just used to German prices (which also rarely drop), so sorry about that.

No problem, it is just so you do not impulse buy it because you might think it is a bargain while its is not. But if that price is okay for you, byall means buy it :)

In some websites often for a very limited time* (but yes it happens for almost every game, around launch, I got my Zelda MM for 33.5€ in another store)

In our local Gamestop, Micromania, they are stil priced in the 45-50€ range.

Always seen the games at 34,50 at Carrefour.

Micromania are thieves though.

Qui vous parlera des jeux vidéo mieux que nous (Who else would advise you better than us on video games - ANYONE)

Yeah I don't like Micromania

Yep around launch, Auchan is the same or even cheaper (around Christmass a few Nintendo games were sold for 30.50), I assume Leclerc do the same and online we have Cdiscount and Amazon pricematching each other.

But for all of them the price never stay the same they change it every few weeks, with the launch of the game and Christmass being the best time for buying a specific game the cheapest way possible.

Micromania remains a mystery for me, often they are near a big supermarket like Auchan Carrefour or Leclerc and you just have to walk 100m to compare the prices between the two and see that Micromania is always 10€ above.
And yet they still exist and I still see a lot of people buying games there...

Little update on this one. I contacted Base.com because there is no cheap way for me to return the game. I informed at my local post office, and it'd cost me at least €6 (without proof of postage, mind you). (The game cost around €11) So I wanted to know if they'd refund me for shipping it back.

Today I got this reply:

Very nice of them. I hadn't expected this. I guess a damaged game is no good for them either. But still, very happy with this solution.

Can I get the damaged one? ^_^

Have GAME got rid of their live chat? I traded in some games on 4 Feb & 8 Feb & I've not received the gift cards yet. There's a new contact number on their site but it's useless. :/

Edit

Found a link in an old email, but the live chat just takes you to a 'contact us page'. :/

Looks like the MM 3D LE wasn't as limited as everybody thought. I feel bad for the people that paid 100€ for it on ebay.

Looks like (some) Saturn stores are selling it for 50€ in Germany and amazon.de still has it in stock.

I was thinking about giving it to a buddy, but if he doesn't want it: sure.

Wow, (If he doesn't want it) that'd be lovely. If you want I also have a spare US copy of Space Invaders Extreme (which btw is a great game) to give away, if you own it already or not interested then of course I'll pay upfront the shipping costs.
We'll see what your friend says
:fingers crossed: ;)

Do you have a reward card?

They have probably added it to your account instead.

easily the most deceptive/misleading pre-release stock online behaviour I have ever seen

It was sold out for weeks everywhere appearing for some minutes in amazon every other day.

then bam, plenty of stock.

its not only this.... a friend of mine tries to sell his majoras mask n3ds xl and plenty of people "try" to buy it, eventually no one paid. so its the third time that he puts it up on several platforms...

lol

I could have told people that. In the UK it never went out of stock all over the pre-order period. Can't see why it would be limited anywhere else.

then again, in an interesting turn of events, in Germany amazon proper is out of stock and only third parties sell it and it goes for over 70 euro....

probably an Amiibo: Rosalina case?

the first day it seemed the amiibo was going to be in stock, in some form but we soon learned that the market obliterated her. it never stood a chance.

Where I can buy digital nintendo eshop € cards? Preferably someplace where I can pay with paypal and doesn't charge much extra.

Any hints on where to find a Vita Slim in the UK for a decent price? Most of the places online have it for £150 which seems pretty steep. I'm scouring eBay and I see some pretty good prices on used ones but I would prefer a new system.
