"When asked by The Inner Circle Podcast about what Rare are working on and if they’re developing more than one title, Greenberg confirmed that the UK-based developer is working on multiple games and that the firm are preparing to unveil them to the public."

It’s going through the process of preparing to unveil their next things, they have multiple projects in development and we feel really good about them.

"There have also been a few rumours circulating that Rare and fellow Microsoft studio Twisted Pixel would be working together on a project, though it seems that rumor has been quashed by Aaron Greenberg who also spoke on the subject of what Twisted Pixel are working on."

Twisted Pixel is not working on a game with any other internal studios.

They have an exciting project they’re working on as well, very unexpected and very different and we’ll just wait to surprise people with what it is.

MS registered a new trademark for Battletoads a few months ago and Phil Spencer wore a Battletoads shirt at the Win10 event last month.

I can see Battletoads being summer, too, maybe as the big title in a new Summer of Arcade (but instead of XBLA it is arcade style games).

I would love a new Banjo (in case my avatar didn't give it away), but I don't know if the Rare that exists now can make a big 3D platformer anymore. I would have thought they would make a Viva Pinata Kinect game, but now that the Kinect is once again treated as an add-on that probably won't happen. If it's Banjo I'm way, way, way in.

IIRC, Rare has multiple separate teams under one roof. It's not farfetched that each is working on separate, distinct products.

Interesting side fact ... at least 3 Rare intellectual properties are currently in some form being worked on. Technically at least 4 - but let's not count Killer Instinct. Still an impressive number if you ask me.

Donkey Kong? Nintendo still owns that IP (which is why Nintendo has been releasing Donkey Kong Country titles on Wii U), Microsoft got Banjo Kazooie.

Healthy skepticism can only be a good thing. They haven't released a non-kinect game since 2008.

Micorosft seems to be teasing Conker quite a bit lately, even Seavor acknowledges and retweets some of those teases. Between that, being asked to voice the character and the whole Project Spark fiasco I want to assume a new one is being made. Banjo has been endlessly teased as well so I'm expecting one or both of these games.
